CHAPTER 8 : BABY

Y/N's POV
i suddenly woke up middle of night when i felt thirsty.
So i get off from my bed and jog to downstairs.
I am shirtless.
Its lazy to pick up any shirt.
I drank a glass of plain water.
I was about to drink more glass again but i heard someone talking at the outside.
So i made my way to the direction.
I decide to eavesdrop. I think its not rude cause its one of my investigation anyway.
Fortunately i bring my phone with me.
I tap the sound recorded and start to record it.

"Yes, i already set that. I set the trap. I convinced Mason to do that party to distract Rosé."
Wait a minute . Im not misheard right?
"Yeah and im the one who push her down to the pool." I felt my blood boiled to my head.
I felt like i want to punch him right now.
But i must control myself. I cant reveal myself.
But i accidentally punch the door.
Make a loud thud enough for jisun to hear it.
I saw Jisun turn around.
But i quickly run from the scene.
I cursed to myself.
I dont want to get caught.
I made my way to living room and plug in my earphone and start workout.
After a few minutes Jisun run to me.
"Y/N!"
I get off from the sit up position and turn to him.
"Wae?"
"Have you heard knocking sound?" He asked me.
I shake my head. "No. Cant you see i plug the earphone?"
Then i just let him dumbfounded.
"Useless." I heard he mumbled but i just shrugged it out.
You are my main target.
I continue to workout instead.
At the beginning it just to cover up.
But i decide to continue it.
I was on front support position.
Then i start to do push up.

Rosé's POV
I cant sleep.
I try to play with my phone. But still its too bored.
How about I mess up with y/n? Sounds good.
Before that.
I tip toed to my dad's room.
I tucked him with blanket and kiss his cheek.
I stopped my track from going downstairs when i saw my dad office's door is open.
I approach there then I saw Jisun right there.
He tried to find something.
"Jisun?"
"Gosh you scared me!" He jumped from the seat.
"So-sorry. What you doing here?"
"Is it not obvious? Im your dad's PA. Of course i need to do extra work."
I just rolled my eyes. "Okay then."
Then i walk away from there and go to the downstairs.
"95,96,97,98,99,100."
There he go again. Push up again. With his shirtless. My eyes is not virgin anymore.
I decide to talk to him. "Again?"
Then i saw he jumped a bit. "Gosh rosé! Cant you make my life better?"
I smirked. "Well i hope so."
Then i went to the kitchen and pour a glass of plain water then i bring it to the living room back to give him.
I dont know why i do this.
"Here. Drink it."
He look at the glass and look at me back.
"You dont put poison right?" He raised his eyebrow.
"Will you drink it or you want me to pour it on your face?" I challenge him.
Then he took it from my hand.
I blushed at the moment when his hand brush to mine.
"Thank you." He said.
"No biggie." I replied with smirk.
Then he take a seat at the couch. Then i sat at the arm rest of that couch.
"Are you stopping to make my life miserable?" He said.
I chuckled. "Who said so? I always make it. No worries."
Whenever i close to him. I could feel like im safe and im comfortable. I hope he will not hear my heartbeat that pump faster because of nervous look at him.

Y/N's POV
why she kind to me lend me a glass of water?
I better to take it before she pour it to my face.
"Why you are not sleeping yet?" I asked her.
"Well i cant sleep. So i decide to make you miserable."
"Again."
"I promised before." She smirked.
"Well why you do push up 100 times each day?"
"Cause i wanna be the one who have the best shoulder for you to cry on." I blurt out.
I just expect her to smack me.
But.
None.
I smiled a bit.
But she just keep silent.
"Why you so sure?" She said.
"Cause i can make it real." I smirked. "Well.. can you tell bout yourself?"
"Which part you want to know?"
"Everything."
"My mum passed away because of accident. The culprit kidnapped me and mum and drive us away. Alice was at Australia that time. My dad chased us.. then our car accidentally hit the big tree. My mum dead. But im alive. But live in phobia. And i.. i.." i saw her eyes threaten the tears to fall. Her hands trembling.
"Rosé.. im sorry. You dont need to continue it if you cant."
"Its okay. I continue it. When we was kidnapped.. the culprit try to rape me. But my mum attack him from behind. It make him mad. So he . He.."
i stroke her back. And keep listening to her.
"He what?"
"He hit my mum. Very bad. And that place is crowded with people. So thats the reason why i hate crowded place."
Then she stopped talking. Her nose red, her eyes puffy.
I cant help myself.
So i pull her into hug.
She felt relaxed in my arm as she hug me tight.
"Y/N?"
"Yes?"
"Promise me you will always beside me."
"Okay i promise." I stroke her back.
We stayed on that situation at the moment.
Then she pulled away.
She put her hair strands behind her ear. Her eyes look down.
"Well Rosé. What should i call you? Seems like you have many names."
She looked at me awhile.
"My korean name is Park Chaeyoung. My english name is Roseanne Park."
"Okay. What a beautiful name. Beautiful as you." I blurted out then i realize what i said.

She tapped her chin.
"You can call me Rosé, or Rosie, or Roseanne. Or you can call me Chaeyoung or Chae..."
"Wow. I have many choice."
"Or.."
"Or what else?" I asked her.
"Or.." she lean closer to me. Our lips is just one inch from each other.
I can feel her hot breath blew to my face.
Is she trying to kiss me?
"Or what?" I asked again.
"Or you can call me.. Baby."
Then he poke my nose and run away to upstairs.
What a tease !
She just left me dumbfounded right here?
My heart flutter. Yes i admit it!

Where is it again?
Where is it my heart? I cant feel it.
