CHAPTER 20 : THE DEAL

Y/N's POV
i wake up from my short nap when i heard someone press the bell at my door.
I slightly get up.
"Auchh. It still hurt." The wound at my waist still pain.
I jog to the downstairs and open the door.
"Alice?"
Her stare more scary than Rosé.
She push me and she let herself enter my house.
She closed the door and lock it.

My thought is snapped when a punch lay at my face make me move backward.
"Whats going on with you Alice?" I yelled.
"WHATS GOING ON WITH YOU PARK Y/N?? YOU PROMISED TO NEVER LET HER SAD. YET YOU LEFT HER AND CRIED ALL DAY. DONT YOU KNOW THAT?"
I was stunned with that words.
I wipe the blood at the corner of my mouth.
I walk to the couch and seat on it.
Alice butt in as well and sat beside me.
"Why you didnt answer me?"
"Just hit me. I deserved that."
"Is there anything bothering you?" She looked at me.
I look at her.
Should i tell her?
I avoided the eye contact with her.
She sigh. "Let me tell you something that you dont know yet. I am Inspector Alice Park. I am one of FBI Agent from Australia. The main reason I fly back to Seoul because i knew my father is accused in drug dealer. So thats why i managed to shoot Jason. Dont you curious why i can shoot that time?"
His jaw dropped. "So—thats—thats mean you knew i do undercover?"
"Yes of course. My father and I also knew that. Thats why we let Rosé fall for you. Because we believed on you." She explained.

"So you and Inspector Junsu is a thing? You know what i mean."

"Its a deal."

"Sir, im truly sorry. Dont fired me. I will arrest the culprit, sir. Please give me chance." I pleaded.
"Alright. But i will give you another chance but with one condition."
"What is it sir?"
He crossed his arm and looked at me.
"Break up with Rosé."
"Wha—what sir?" I raised my voice.
"Behave, son. Im your superior!"
"Why i must break up with her?"
"You are cops. You see. I didnt have family besides you. Cause i dont want make anyone cry in case i die. You and me are cops, son. You cant give any hope to your lover. Try to imagine. What if one day you left her? I mean you died in the operation? You will make her cry for losing you. She will kept crying because you cant comeback in this earth."
I looked down at my finger.

"Do you love her?" He asked me.
"Yes, i do."
"Just left her in peacefully before you die. You tell her you never love her. Then only i gave you chance to prove it to me you can do this operation. Catch the culprit, save Rosé and.... break up with her."

"Rosé.. why you are staying at room? Lets eat." My father said to me. He lean against the door frame at my room.

I sigh.
