Chapter 9: We're what?

Elsa's POV

"You're engaged to my son." Mrs Frost announced excitedly

Engaged.. engaged.. engaged.. engaged..

That word spun around my head for a while..

"We're what?" Jack's jaw dropped

"You, young people are engaged." Mrs Frost pointed to us and took out a folder from her bag.

"I didn't hear about this." I got confused about the engaged thing and asked

"Well it says right here in your parents' last will. Our eldest daughter, Elsa Arendelle, whom we love is to be left in the care of my best friend and number one partner in trade, Richard Frost. When she reaches the age of 18, she will be married to Richard Frost's eldest son." Mrs Frost read it in an old english accent and it was actually pretty impressive

"Dad didn't tell me anything about this. We didn't even know what he does for a living." I explained

"Yeah mom, I didn't hear anything about being engaged again." Jack butted in.

"I don't know anything much myself but I'm guessing Richard knows about this. Anyways, Elsa, now that we're acquainted. The dress is gonna be for free, dear." She said while holding my hand

"Are you serious? This is a $4500 dress. I can pay for it" I tried to sound respectful

"Oh don't worry, this botique is part of Overland Inc., I own this place. So you can pick any dress you like."

"Anyways, I have to run. It was nice seeing you Jackson. And my future daughter in law." she gave Jack a kiss and me a hug and left.

"Did that just happen?" I directed to Jack

"What do you mean?" He seemed to be playing dumb

"Look, I agreed to be your date but what kind of a development is this? Why are we suddenly engaged? It's like the setting for a ridiculous chic-flic movie." I got a bit upset and happy. Upset because mom and dad didn't tell me anything about this. Happy because the man I'm engaged with isn't some crazy weirdo.

"Oh geez, it's getting late. We should head back." Jack suggested as he looked at his watch. "Let's just grab a drive-thru pizza and rent some movies. I don't feel like wasting a saturday night without a movie."

"Yeah, that's fine by me. But, no horror movies." I warned him

"Don't worry, I'm inviting the big 4 over." he grabbed his phone and started texting as I we walked to the car.

*Jack's house*

"Ooookay, I got MI4:Ghost Protocol, The Avengers, Dark shadows, Eragon and The Hobbit, and I managed to grab The Fault in our Stars." Jack stood in front of the tv and asked me to pick but his doorbell rang.

"Hey Jack, can you get that, I'm in the bathroom" Uncle Manny yelled.

"Yeah sure, it's probably Hiccup or Merida or Rap." Jack went down and I inspected his room, it was really big and well divided. One space had his bed, another a computer set with some weights and another with his wardrobe. The blueness in his room makes you feel like you're in the sky.

"It's Hiccup and Merida." Jack went in with the both of them.

"Hey guys." I greeted

"Hey." they replied in unison.

"So, what movie?" Jack asked

"Eragon." Hiccup said

"The Hobbit" Merida argued

"The Fault in Our stars!" me and another voice said unison.

"Guys, you didn't even wait for me." It was Rapunzel.

"I thought you were with Eugene" Jack asked

"I was, but you called." Punz explained

"Okay, tfios it is." Jack put in the disc and we got comfy.

"Jack, are you serious? We're watching a chic-flic?" Hiccup awwed

"Well, two people voted." Jack said and sat next to me

We proceeded with the movie and Jack got teary-eyed and so did I, Merida and Hiccup were teasing each other and Punzie was focused on the movie. We continued like that until I started dozing off and I slept after the 3rd movie. Jack, Hiccup and Merida stayed up all night and slept at dawn.

*next morning*

I woke up with a warm feeling in the side of my head and could feel a hand in my hips. I was sleeping next to Jack on the floor. Oh my god, he's so cute when he's sleeping. I checked my phone and it was 5 in the morning. The wasnt out yet and Jack was talking in his sleep.

"I love you so much, I don't want to let you go..." he murmured while he started to move and hugged me. He had a tight grip, I couldn't get out. But I felt safe and loved. I wonder how he feels about me

"...Food" he continued to murmur.

Oh, right. Food. I slept again feeling his body before I dozed off.

As promised, here's the update. I'm not sure when I can update again but next chapter will be their dinner date with Jack's mom... Anyways I want you to comment
