Chapter 7: Jack's a model?

Jack's POV

Elsa and I won the lead role for Ms. Ariel's play. I read the sypnosis:

"Two childhood friends, stuck with each other since birth. But what would happennif they fall for each other? Will they still be the best of friends? Or will it be awkward, and they'd drift apart?"

What kind of a clichéd story is this? Oh gosh, if this is what was gonna happen, I should've took it easy. Anyways, I should probably request a stand-in.

"Ms Ariel" I called. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Sure, what is it, Mr Frost?" Ms Ariel asked.

"I'm happy about being accepted and all, but I think we need a fill-in just in case something happens."

"Why do you suppose something will happen?" Ms Ariel asked with a questioning look.

"I don't know, I just feel it in my gut that he's gonna do something crazy" I explained. "This isn't something I'd be doing if it wasn't for Elsa" I continued

"So what you're saying is that you, Jack Frost, henced the most popular boy in the school 2 years straight top 1 in the popularity poll likes the new girl?" Ms Ariel whispered accusingly

"W-what? N-n-No. That's not it. Chairman's orders. CHAIRMAN'S ORDERS." I stuttered

"Oh, is that your excuse? I think someone's head over heels."

I showed Ms Ariel the letter and her eyes grew wide.

"Oh, okay then, if you'll excuse me" she seemed embarrassed as she walked away.

Elsa's POV

Okay, so it's almost time for next class and Jack's not here. What should I do? Should I wait? Or should I just go? Oh, what am I thinking. I should go

As I decided to leave and started to walk away. Jack was calling for me in my back.

"Hey Elsa, wait!!" He screamed as he ran to me.

"Oh Jack, hey. What took you? Eheh" I said awkwardly while putting my hair behind my ear.

"Just some stuff about the play, anyways, just lemme grab a few-" Jack didn't finish his sentence and looked at his phone.

"Uhm Jack? Is everything okay?" I asked.

"Oh gosh, I almost forgot. I'm so sorry Elsa but I have to go." Jack replied

"Go? Go where?" I asked him some more.

"You see, here in our school, we have a popularity poll every year in the middle of the semesters and I, well not to brag but, I am the one claiming top spot every year since I was a freshman. So I get the honors of being the school's official model. And since this school is more sophisticated than it looks, I get to be in a magazine article about famous schools and student." Jack explained

"Wait, so you're the one I've been seeing in Anna's magazines?" I asked again.

"I guess so." He confusingly said

"Anyways, I'm really sorry but I have to leave you in Rap's hands." he said as he left

I was with Punzie the entire day but we didn't have any classes together and I didn't hae anyone to talk to since Jack is at his photoshoot. Sigh

I wish I could stay with him forever...

Wait, what?

"Stay with who exactly, Elsie?" Punzie questioningly said with a smug look on her face. I didn't realize we were together.
