You just woke up in the morning but already hated this day. First of all, it was Monday, as everyone knew Monday is a day of heavy and, the second, today was the day when you must present your project to your asshole boss. He wasn't liked by anyone at your office you weren't an exception. He could fire anyone if, for example, he didn't like your blouse. It wasn't the only blunt reason why you could be fired. Thank God, you didn't oversleep in contrary you got up half an hour earlier.

You loved to make a cup of coffee and drank it on balcony of your apartment while watching practically empty streets of metropolis. They were so peaceful that it's hard to imagine that in less than hour they would be full of busy people, rushing somewhere and minding their businesses.

Watching peaceful streets always made your mood better but today. You were really afraid of being fired you barely had money to pay bills. If you got fired it would be the real end. So, you were standing on the balcony with the sad expression on your faced.

After a while you felt someone's gaze on yourself. At first, you didn't pay attention but it started to annoy you according to your already bad mood. You looked around the house across the street and noticed a guy who was looking directly at you. When he understood he was caught wide smiled appeared on his face. He waved you, you just nodded. Boy stopped to wave and smile disappeared. Then he tilted his head to the right like puppy and pouted, after a few seconds his head was straight again. He gestured you to smile smiling too. You giggled at this action and he show his thumbs up like saying 'everything's gonna be alright'. A wide smile came across your face. After that boy waved goodbye and disappeared in his apartment.

-       He's cute, - you murmured still smiling. Your mood extremely increased.

Since that day you saw this guy every morning. He always did cute things so did you. It was like a ritual which kept your mood good all day whatever bad happened you remembered the boy and you felt better.

After a couple of months you started catching something for him no matter how weird it sounded. By the way, it wasn't feelings like falling in love but affection.

One morning he didn't appear. You were worried if something happened to him. It was sad starting a day without the ritual. So, all day you were out of mood.

When you came home you found out that you had to go to the shop. According to problems with money you may only buy cheap food. That's why you carefully studied stickers on items. Suddenly, someone bumped into you that you dropped a pack of instant noodles. You were about to pick it up when the person, who were the bumper, picked it up and handed you the pack.

-       I'm sorry, my bad, - he apologized. You lifted your head and recognized the guy from the house across the street.

-       It's ok, - you smiled a bit.

-       Oh, I know you, - he giggled. - You're the girl from balcony.

-       Yep, and you're the boy across the street, - you giggled back.

-       The name's Tom, - he reached out a hand to shake.

-       Y/N, - you shook his hand. - Nice to finally meet you.

-       Nice to meet you too.

There was an awkward silence between the two of you. Both wanted to say something but didn't have anything in minds.

-       Erm, I saw a coffee house next to the shop. How about a cup of coffee?

-       I'd love to, but I didn't take much money, so, I'm afraid I don't have enough for coffee.

-       I'll pay, - he looked at with puppy eyes.

-       No-no, you don't have.

-       I insist.

-       If you do, then ok, - you said softly.

-       Fine! - he almost jumped.

You had a great time in each other's company. Tom was cuter than you had seen from balcony and, you may say, hot. He showed you his dorky side too, what made you laugh hard from time to time. At some point you thought that you know him for many years but for an hour, no matter how cliché it sounded.

-       Tom, may I ask you a question?

-       Of course.

-       I wonder why you didn't "say good morning" today, - you made quotes with your fingers in air.

-       Oh that. I overslept, - he stretched the back of his neck and giggled. - Sorry.

-       Thank God, I was worried, - you didn't realize what you had said.

-       You were worried? - he asked confused.

-       Umm, yeah, kinda, - you blushed hard.

-       Aww... You're cute, - Tom made a face if he saw a puppy what made you blush more.

It got pretty late and it was the closing time of coffee house. Tom suggested walk you home. Now you were standing in front of entrance into your apartment complex. He didn't want to leave.

-       It's late already you better go home, - you said sadly.

-       Yeah, - he replied. - By the way, can I have your number?

-       Of course, - he gave his phone and you put your contact info. - Here.

-        I'll text you later, - he said shoving phone in pocket of jeans. - See you, - he went away.

-       See you too.

After entering the building you were smiling like idiot. This smile didn't disappear till you fall asleep.
