After the gods had granted our wishes, things were great. Annabeth and I were together, we even moved into a custom-made apartment complex built by Hephaestus, with celestial bronze automatons as security guards, and each room has a thin sheet of celestial bronze surrounding it. Some even have imperial gold, or Stygian iron. The Stygian iron rooms cost a lot more, though. One night at camp after a game of capture the flag (my team won, of course) everyone suddenly became hateful towards me. I thought they might have just been mad I won, but it carried over into the next day, and the next. People were insulting me, giving me dirty looks, the whole mile. The only people who didn't were Nico, and Thalia. One day after summer was over, and I returned to the apartment after a long day of swimming and training, as I'm planning to participate in the 2020 Olympics, Annabeth wasn't there. I looked through the whole apartment, and found nothing. When I finally went into her room, I found a note on her bed, and all her drawers in her dresser were pulled out, and empty. Empty desk, looked like brand new furniture, nothing in it. The note read 'Percy, I'm sorry to leave, but I just don't love you anymore. My mother has offered me a job as an architect in Olympus, designing statues, and she has also allowed me to design a city, which the gods are naming 'New Greece'. What I wrote at the beginning of this note was a lie, I'm not sorry to go. I don't love you, and I have fallen in love with one of the wind gods at Olympus, and I've been seeing him for about six months. Goodbye, you prick.' When I read that note, I could actually feel my heart fracturing, and breaking into pieces. I needed to leave, so I quickly left the apartment, grabbing the keys to my blue Mustang Shelby GT, rushing down the stairwell to the parking lot, getting in my car, and driving to camp. When I arrived, I met an angry Chiron. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" He shouted at me. "YOUR HURRICANE KILLED 14 CAMPERS, JACKSON! WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF? " He screamed into my face. "I... I didn't do it. I swear, I didn't!" I said, pleading with him. "THEN TELL ME, PERSEUS, HOW I SAW YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THE CABINS, SUMMON A HURRICANE, AND THEN LEAVE IN THAT VERY CAR YOU JUST RETURNED IN?" He shouted, pointing at my Mustang. "I... I don't know. I didn't do it I swea-" I tried to finish my sentence, but time... It was like it just... Froze. It seemed like I was the only one that was unfrozen, until I turned around, and a muscled man with pastel pink wings, spanning about ten feet in total, swooped down in between me and Chiron. "Hello, Perseus. I am the Primordial, Eros. I only appear when a demigod is completely void of love, and has no need for life, and I give them a chance at another one. And right now Perseus, that seems to be what you need."
