"Perseus, my child, I am offering to give you a new life, as one of my four heralds. I will give you the powers of a god, and teach you all I know about combat." he said to me, trying to be convincing. "You had me at Perseus." I said, with a smug grin. He put his hands on my chest, and they began to glow gold, and I felt a warmth inside me as I felt a rush of power leave him, and go into me. "Congratulations , Perseus. You are now the god of Earth, Time, Valor, and True Love." he told me, in a proud tone, like a father would use... Like my father used.

"Thank you, Lord Eros. I appreciate your gift, very much." I said to him, as appreciative as possible. "Ah, yes, one more thing." Eros said, as he snapped his fingers, and a pair of pastel wings unfolded from my back, much like his. "Wow, thank you, Lord Eros." I said, amazed. "It's just Eros now, Perseus. You are welcome" He said, in an amused tone. "So, shall we visit my realm? It's absolutely lovely this time of year. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom." And that was the last sentence I heard, before Zephyr whisked me away.

Once I arrived at his realm, I looked around, and it absolutely took my breath away. There was a massive mansion, like, Gatsby big. Eros had a large fountain with a Cherub on top, with a large gravel path leading up to the house, and cherry blossoms lining the path. There was a faint pink glow beaming through the trees. "Wow. Is this where you live?" I asked Eros. "Yes, this is my private partition of my realm. You will live here with me, instead of in the barracks, with my soldiers. The other three heralds live here as well. I will introduce them to you now." He said, and with a snap of his fingers, the other three heralds came out. And seeing them, my jaw dropped to the floor. They were Silena Beauregard, Charlie Beckendorf, and Luke Castellan. Or, as Eros told me, Ardence, Contrive, And Perfidy. "Wow. Haven't seen you all in quite a while. I missed you all." I said, getting emotional. "Yeah. Been a while, Perce. How ya been? Silena and I have been here, living it up." Beckendorf said, with this massive grin. "Well, Charlie, I kind of... Lost it all. That's why we're here, is it not? Besides the last week, I have been amazing." I said. "How about you, Luke? Still mad I beat you?" I said, playfully. "Hey, that was the titan, if it was me, I woulda kicked your ass!" He said, a dangerously playful twinge in his voice. "Oh yeah, bet." I said, pulling out Riptide... Except, it wasn't Riptide.
