Furry stuff I guess

So yeah I said in the intro that I'm a furry.

For anyone who might not know, a furry is someone who is a part of the 'furry fandom' - a fandom centered on anthropomorphic (or human-like) animals. I hope by now you know what a fandom is, or else you're beyond my help, but unlike most fandoms, the furry fandom isn't centered around any one franchise or person. It thrives for the most part on the material produced by its own members (as well as franchises). This makes it a uniquely creative fandom. With all the picking on that it has endured since it began in the 1980s (as a branch of sci-fi fans), it has become a refuge for social outcasts - the 'weird kids' if you will - and as a result is overall very friendly and accepting towards people of any background. Unless you're a bully.
No one likes a bully.
Contrary to popular belief, you do not need a fursuit to be a furry, and no it's not a sexual thing (for most normal furries). It is true that some people have a thing for anthro animals, but raise your hand with me if you've ever had a crush on a non-human fictional character *cough*giant-transforming-space-robots*cough*. I assume that's most people reading - we are on Wattpad after all.

But enough of my novel, this isn't about the history or the furry fandom, it's about me being a part of it now. I have considered myself a part of this for around about a year now, and it's awesome.
