Seon Ah POV

"Seon Ah, breakfast is ready," the maid whispered by the door before slowly inviting herself into the room. "You're the last one."

I was barely awake to comprehend what she was saying, but I managed to hear the word breakfast and that was enough. "I'm coming," I let her know before forcing myself off the bed.

While washing up, I stopped to look at myself in the large mirror, heaving a sigh at where I was. It can't be a coincidence that this family showed up when I started having nightmares again. I can't sit and do nothing.

-

Once I entered the dining room, everyone's conversations suddenly stopped, which made me raise my eyebrows. Despite that, I took a seat between Moon and Jisung then kindly waited for the twins to come down after noticing that they were the only ones missing.

"Hey, Sorry we're late.." Jimin immediately said as he ran into the dining room. He took a seat across from me while Taehyung strolled in with a much calmer manner, bowing to everyone before taking a seat beside his brother, across from Moon.

"How was your night?" Jimin spoke up first, taking a sip from his orange juice after.

"Great! That bed is heaven I slept like a baby!" Chenle responded excitedly, a big smile on his face.

"You are a baby," Jeno teased, earning a couple giggled around the table and a glare from Chenle.

"It was a good night," Renjun said next, also sending a smile to the owners of the house.

Of course he had a good night. Him and Isabelle were macking on each other for twenty minutes and I could hear the noises they were making even after I closed the door.

I noticed the panicked glance that the boy gave me, which only showed that he knew I saw. It was only a matter of time before he'd confront me.

"Except for that clock that rang at 3, I slept well," Jaemin spoke up.

"Yes, that clock can be very loud at night, especially when then house is very quiet," Isabelle added in, taking a bite from her omelette afterwards.

"What about you Seon Ah?" Jimin asked, causing everyone at the table to look at me.

"It was fine," I dryly responded, having a short flashback to the night before.

"Any nightmares?" Mark asked from across the table.

I hesitated, "I- no."

Mark raised his eyebrows, tilting his head as if silently questioning me. It took him a silent few seconds to respond, "well that's good, right?" He asked, directing the question to everyone.

"Nightmares?" Taehyung asked, looking around the table for anyone to answer.

"Seon Ah has been getting nightmares ever since she was a kid," Haechan answered. "They happen every once in a while... a little more often lately."

My eyes shifted towards him, unsure of whether I wanted that information to be shared to strangers... these strangers. I shook my head a little to give him the sign to stop talking, which earned a little nod from him.

"About what?" Jimin asked.

"I usually don't remember them," I answered this time.

The atmosphere was dense after I spoke up, which gave me the cue to leave with my empty plate to the kitchen. I placed it in the sink and grabbed the sponge to clean it, force of habit.

"You don't need to wash it, we have people for that." Taehyung stopped me, walking right behind.

"It's okay, It'll only take a minute," I insisted, continuing to wash the plate and silverware.

However, when I was scrubbing the dried eggs on my plate, I began to feel numb, the urge to cry creeping up on me immediately. Why did I feel so scared?

"Why are you crying?"

I turned to look at Taehyung who began to take the plate and sponge from me, his eyes on mine as he placed them on the side.

"I'm not," I argued, but that was quickly proven wrong when I felt the a tear roll down my cheek. Why am I crying?

"Your eyes are sweating?" He raised his eyebrows, trying to crack a joke.

"No," I managed to force out a chuckle, going to grab a napkin to wipe the tear.

He put the plate back into the cupboard and turned towards me, "what's wrong?"

"I- I don't know..." I answered truthfully. I don't know what is wrong with me. But there is something wrong.

"Come with me," he held out his hand and I hesitated to accept it, staring right at it. "I don't bite," he smiled. "Unless you want me to," he added to it, sending me a wink that ended up making me laugh. I took his hand in mine and followed him up the stairs.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

"You'll see."

He pulled me into a room on the very top floor. Beanbags were on the floor in front a huge tv, the balcony doors were open. His ginormous king sized bed was still messy from when he woke up and I could smell his cologne in the air.

"This is where the magic happens," he smiled while spreading his arms out.

"Magic?" I asked, sitting on his bed and looking up at the stickers stuck on the ceiling.

"I'm magical," he whispered after sitting beside me, making me look over at him with a curious look on my face. "Maybe one day.." he stated, his finger trailing up my arm and to the side of my neck, gently holding it to keep my gaze on his. "Maybe one day you'll see."

It was weird, like I could not pull away from his mesmerizing gaze. I couldn't help but get red, smiling like an idiot before reaching my hand up to his arm, pulling his hand away from my neck. "How bold of you."

"That's me," he responded before sliding down on the floor in front of me, looking up while putting his hands on my knees. "Now tell me what was wrong."

"I had a nightmare last night, I saw someone familiar but I don't want to confirm and say it's them when it might not be," I explained, feeling a lot more comfortable after the few jokes he threw out.

"But you told everyone you didn't have a nightmare...?" He asked, head tilted to the side.

"I didn't want all of them to worry when they're super happy here," I explained.

"That's kind of you." He hummed, rubbing my knees with his hands. Our eyes locked for a moment and he looked like he was deep in thought while staring at mine. "What exactly did you see?" He suddenly asked.

"I don't remember, I just remember the woman in each of them," I said before shrugging my shoulders, leaning back on the bed to lay down.

"Do you know her?" He asked, standing up to take a seat beside me.

"I guess?"

"You seem unsure."

"I am," I assured, letting out a laugh after.

He reached to the top of my head and began stroking the hair, which soothed me greatly despite all the stress I was under. "You can hang with me if you ever have another bad dream if you want.." he suggested, and I definitely considered.

"I'll keep that in mind," I responded before closing my eyes.

His hand kept stroking my hair, which I didn't realize was making me so sleepy. I leaned against his touch more and heard a light chuckle escape from his lips. Before I knew it, his lips pressed against mine and I fell asleep.
