you brought color
into my dull, gray world but recently,
i am feeling extremely blue.
my cheeks blushed a pink as you
whispered, "i love you" sweetly
into my ear.
i swayed in the green pastures
of your shiny, emerald eyes,
the same ones i fell in love with.
i stole your hoodie that hued the sunniest yellow and i savored your scent, not knowing it'd be my last.
and now, my wrist release
a crimson red while
i whisper your name,
loving the way it sounds
as it escapes my lips.
