Chapter 17: The good news

Olivia’s POV:

School passed by really fast, I ignored Antonio and spent the day alone.

It was now time for me to go to cheerleading practice but first meet up with Noah.

“Hi Baby cakes.” Noah said behind me.

“NOAH!” I yelled and jumped on him. He caught me and twirled me around.

We were hugging but after a while, I realized this was a really weird position.

This was a boyfriend/girlfriend position. I had my legs wrapped around his waist and he had his hands around my waist.

I got down.

“I missed you.” He said kissing the top of my head.

“I’m pretty sure I missed you more.” I said winking at him and giggling.

“That’s not possible… Guess who just joined the soccer team?” he said with a large smile on his face.

“Umm… Is it Ian?” I asked teasing him because with the smile he had on his face even the dumbest person could figure this out.

“Nops. It’s me” he said throwing his hands in the hair and hugging me.

“Congrats.” I said hugging him back.

He pushed me away with confusing written all over his face. “Who in the world is Ian?” he asked.

“I don’t know” I said smiling.

“Holly!” The captain yelled.

“Yeah?” I asked her looking at her.

“Come here now. We have to rehears.”

“Alrighty.” I said and I looked back at Noah who was checking the cheerleading captain out by looking at her flirtatiously and biting his bottom lip. “She is out of your league.” I told him and laughed.

I walked towards the door where she was standing and Noah told me: “See you later Holly”

I waved good bye and walked in the gym.

The whole team was on the floor stretching out before doing our routine.

“Before we start, I notice some of you have been lazy and tired. So I decided that we all do something about that. we will do one hundred push-ups, one hundred sit-ups, two hundred jumping jacks and run for about thirty minutes, and if one of you don’t do the exercise correctly, you will have to repeat the whole exercise tomorrow and all the other days until you get in right. Alright from the beginning… Get up and make a line.” She said before blowing her whistle.

We all did as we were told and after doing all she called two girls who had to do the exercises again tomorrow or they would be kicked out of the team.

We did our routine and did it over and over for at least five times.

I was super tired, my legs were hurting and I couldn’t feel them. Right now, I had changed to go to my soccer practice.

I arrived at the fields and waited as the team gathered up. We trained for a long time and then, I walked towards my car and I saw Antonio standing in front of it.

“What do you want?” I asked him crossing my arms.

“I just want to talk and say I’m sorry. I didn’t know what I was doing.” He said

“Sorry doesn’t change the fact that you hurt me and that you said you would rather be alone then with me.”

“Olivia, I didn’t mean to hurt you. But all I can say right now is I didn’t know… I didn’t know what I was doing or what I was saying. I love you Olivia and that’s all I need to know. Even if you don’t forgive me, I just think that you should know I love you.” He said with tears in his eye. Now I did know that he was really sorry and actually meant it.
