Chapter 1: The Start Of A New Ending

Authors note: HEEEYYYYYY GUYYYYSSSS!!! It's been about a year or two since I wrote my last book, but here's a new book for you to read. This book is going to be a continuation from my first book Abandoned & In Love, if your new and just started reading this then go on over to my first book.... If not then you will most likely be confused of what happens in this book. Anyways enough talking let's get to the drama...

"Ugghhhh spending the morning in the hospital is not really the best thing. I want to go back to my comfortable bed, but I can't. I can't just leave Jezzy here by herself. Not when she isn't awake yet." I hear as my eyes slowly flutter open.

I had to stay overnight at the hospital, I wasn't feeling too well with all the new baby things that I have to deal with. This morning I get to find out the gender of my new baby. Wonder what it could be?

"Huh? What's happening?" I ask in worry.

"Hey sleepy head, you ready to find out the gender of your baby? Feeling any better from last night?"

"Yeah, thanks so much for helping me get through all this. It's kind of hard, not having Lizzie and Derek here. Although, it is reasonable since they're on their honeymoon. I also heard that they're expecting to have babies soon." I say.

"No problem. I'm always here to help you out everyday, and through every single moment of your life."

"You're the best, I don't know what I would do without you." I say happily.

"So wait a minute, don't you think Roman should be here to see the gender of the baby. Or maybe even Reece, I think that they are the most important people who really need to see this."

"Well not really, the thing is I don't actually know who the father of the baby is. Since everyone is away I just really need someone here with me right now, and you're the only person that actually cared to stay and try to take care of me while everyone is gone."

"Alright, well I guess if this is what you really want then i'll stay. I'll be back I'm gonna go get us some snacks from the cafeteria." He said.

"Ok thank you, I really could use something to eat and drink." I say with a raspy voice.

"Is orange juice okay with you? And some fruits?" He asked.

"Yeah I would like that a lot, thank you so much. You're the best." I say with appreciation.

"Anything for you, are you sure that's enough, do you want anything else?" He asked.

"No, no it's fine, I'm good with those for now. But thanks so much." I replied.

"Ok, i'll be right back, i'm gonna go use the bathroom. Walking all the way to the cafeteria and back, then drinking a lot of liquid. Yeah you get the point. I'll be back." He says before leaving the room.

Before he walked out, I abruptly mentioned something that startled him. "I love you Brandon." Once he left the room I brought my phone out and started to call Lizzie.

He grunted, gave me a small smile, then left. I sunk into my bed.

Once he left the room I brought my phone out and started to call Lizzie. "Lizzie answer please, please, please... LIZZIE!!!!!!! Oh my gosh I am so happy to talk to you I missed you so much. How's your honeymoon with Derek? Oh my goodness, we have so much to talk about when you get back." I said as my excitement fills the room.

"Heyyyyy Jezabel!!!! Oh my god, I missed you so much too. The honeymoon was so great, we're actually staying here for a few more days. Oh and about coming back..." Lizzie says worried.

"What? Don't say.." I reply with despair.

"I'm sorry to break this to you, I honestly really wanted to do this in person but that's not option right now. So, me and Derek are planning on buying a house in Europe and we won't be near as much as before. But I promise we will visit a lot, I will not let us lose our friendship. You're my bestfriend, I love you so much Jezzy and I'm going to miss you so much." Lizzie says with love.

Well I guess that's some way to deliver news to someone who is pregnant in the hospital.

"Thanks for letting me know Lizzie, I just really hoped that you are actually here for me for very important moments in my life. Like I'm about to find out the gender of my baby, and giving birth in a few months.. I just can't believe this." Jezzy says sarcastically yet with anger.

"I said I was sorry Jezzy, I promise that I will make it up to you." Lizzie says.

"No, just don't and don't call me Jezzy. When I actually need you the most, you can't be here because you're going off to do something that you think is so much more important than what's happening with me. Once I feel that I can forgive you, then you can call me that. But right now just.." I say with anger, about to end the call with Lizzie.

"Wait Jez.." Lizzie says as my finger hovers over the end button.

"Ugh, I can't believe I can be so stupid to do this to you, Jezzy." Lizzie says with worry.

"I told you not to call me Jezzy!" With that said, I hung up the phone.

I don't feel like talking to anyone right now UGH. I'm going to block her number until I feel it's the right time to talk to her again. I'm just so frustrated.

"Hey, I'm back. Sorry I took so long, they closed off most of the bathrooms in the hospital so I had to go all the way across to the other side of the hospital. Very far walk, ain't doing that ever again." Brandon says walking into the room.

"Hey are you ok? What happened when I was gone?" Brandon asked.

"I don't really want to talk about it right now, maybe later I just need to cool down for a while. But thanks for being here with me, I feel that you're the only one that I can trust and talk to right now." I say.

The doctor walks in holding a clipboard with a cheeky grin on his face. I couldn't help but smile too. 

"So what's the news doc?" Brandon says from beside me. 

"You're having a clown as a baby." The doctor says.

"WHAAT!!? UM EXCUSE ME I DID NOT COME ALL THE WAY HERE TO THE HOSPITAL TO FIND OUT I'M HAVING A-" I say as I get interrupted.

"Jezabel, I was joking, I'm so sorry my dear. That's just how I am. Okay so back to the real reveal." The doctor says pulling up a few tabs on his computer.

Brandon grips onto my hand, and I do the same. The suspense was killing me. 

"Well get on with it." I say a bit too harsh.

"You're having a---" The doc pauses.

"Doc come on please." I say nervously.

"YOU'RE HAVING A GIRL.... CONGRATULATIONS!!" The docs says with excitement.

Lizzie's POV
"I can't really tell Jezzy what's really happening. It's true that Derek and I are moving to Europe but there's a plan to it that involves Jezzy and everyone else." I said to myself.

"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure Jezzy will come around. She can't ignore you forever." Derek says over hearing what I've been saying in the other room.

"I know, but I just really want this plan to work out and I-" I say bursting into tears.

"Hey come here, it's going to be okay. Come on let's just get some rest and we can talk about all this in the morning." Derek says trying to comfort me.

"Alright fine.. Hey Derek?" I grunted.

"Yeah?" Derek questions.

"I love you so much, and I can't wait to have children. I hope to become a great happy family." I say trying to make myself feel better.

"Love you too. I can't wait to buy that house in Europe..." Derek responds.

I start to get sleepy, so Derek and I fall asleep in each others arms until the next morning.
