Maria was a big fan of Atletico Madrid. She loved their style of play and everything about them. She had a huge crush on koke even though she was quite close to him,she never had the courage to tell him thinking he would not feel the same. "Hello Maria" koke said spoke into the phone immediately she picked it at the first ring. "Hey!" She said way too excitedly. He laughed at the loudness. "Are you free this weekend?" He asked.does he want to Ask me on a date? I asked in my mind. I shook my head at the thought. "Maria? You there?" I was zoned out. "Yes,i'm free. But don't you have a match during the weekend?" "After the match ofc." Oh okay ,that's fine. Where are we meeting?" I'll tell you that later. Byee" he hung up. I felt sad. Maria wasn't the shy type but she wasn't loud of a girl. She sighed and went to the nearest shop to get something to eat.
Koke's Pov
"Bro, you've just got to tell her how you feel. What's so hard in that? I was speaking to antoine about how much I love Maria and how she doesn't know. I really want her to know and I definitely want the relationship to go further than its original level.
"I don't want her to drift away from me. The relationship is far too precious to me to just let it slip by my hands. I like her a lot and I definitely don't want to share with anyone." "Then ask her out for pete's sake,will ya?" He repeated and started walking to the dressing rooms. I paused for a while and then called after him. The next day,I decided I was going to tell her how I felt about her during the date. Hopefully she likes me back because she doesn't seem to show any feelings towards me.
Maria POV
"So how's you and the joke thing going ? " I rolled my eyes at her. "We're seeing this weekend. " I muttered. "C'mon use this time to tell him that you've been crushing silently on him." "What if..?" "If.....?" I sighed and walked into the kitchen to grab a drink.
She followed almost immediately stamping her feet on the floor. "So you're going to tell him or no?" She stood by the door waiting for an answer. I dropped the drink on the work top after drinking out of it. "I guess i'm going to tell him what I feel and for how long its been eating me." "Yayyy,now that's more like it. Mwah." She hugged and pecked my cheeks and left the kitchen. I smiles at the thought of telling him how I felt. I grunted aloud and left the kitchen with my drink.
At the Weekend...
I was getting prepared to leave for the place where Koke called me earlier on to meet him. I was anxious and at the same time really nervous. Let's do this,Maria. You can do it. I mumbled to myself. I walked to my closet and took out a shirt with jeans and I wore a sneaker. I let my hair loose and combed through it.

I yelled to my friend that I was leaving and left the house and got a cab.
When I got to the place,it was quiet and nobody was there. I brought out my phone and checked my texts. Koke said he was on his way. I checked my other texts and sat on a chair.
Few minutes later,I saw someone's shadow walk up to me and i looked back.
The handsome face and the sweet scenting cologne greeted me. I stood up and he pulled me into an embrace. His smell gave me life. We hugged for a while till he pulled away smiling. "What's up with you today?" I asked him as I sat back down. "Nothing,I just missed you." Be grinned. I smiled back. "Really? Well i'm here now. And don't tell me you didn't get something for us to eat." I said giving him a glare. He chuckled and said no. "I want to tell you about the lady I like." He started. My heart skipped a beat. Oh no! "What about her?" I acted like I didn't care. "I don't know how to tell her. She's been on my mind lately. I just can't get her out!" He said looking forward. There goes my courage out the window. "Well why don't you show her then? Do I know her so I can help you?" I asked frantically.
He looked me in the eyes. "Show her you say?" "Yeah,since you can't tell her."
"Close your eyes." He said after gazing at me. "Huh?" "Close 'em. Now. Please!" I furrowed my eyebrows as I was confused. "Chill. O-okay." I closed them still confused.
I felt warm palms touch my cheeks and before I knew it,his lips touched mine.
The softness of his lips drove me wild. He was passionate and began caressing me. I kissed him back forgetting everything around me. Why was he kissing me?
He pulled away and my eyes were still closed still amused. I opened them later on and he was smiling at me.
"It's you,Maria. You're the only one for me. I love you and i've always loved you." He shined his white teeth at me.
"I've loved you too Koke. For a long time now." I laughed hysterically. He pecked my lips again and we got up laughing.
"I feel so good right now." Koke said as we intertwined our fingers. "Now let's go feed that hungry stomach of yours." We both laughed and walked to his car.
