"Your tears shouldn't be wasted on something irrelevant like that piece of shit." Steph mumbled as he rubbed the back of his best friend {your name}. {your name} cried against his shirt as she wrapped her arms around his frame, getting comfortable in his arms once more.
"It's just when things seem like they are finally going right, some bad shit always have to happen. We were about to get married Steph." She ranted as she kept her head in his chest. Steph rocked her slowly as he tried to calm her down from another break down. Since she arrived at his house at 11am she has been crying nonstop.
"I don't understand why would he do some shit like that. All I've ever been to him in the past five years was loyal to ass and he repay by having more than one mistress." She said getting angrier by the thought of her now ex-fiancé. Stephen let out a small sigh as he held her tighter.
"It's okay {your Name} you can let out your frustration but don't let your tears waste because the man didn't know how to love you. No woman should experience such heart break okay." He said as soothingly to her as he kissed her forehead.
"It just, hurts Steph. I'm in love with this man and he took my love for granted. Like why would he do that? Am I not good enough for him?" {your name} asked more to herself than to him. Stephen let out a small sigh as he made her sit up.
"Watch me {your name}." He said as he cupped her face in his hands. Her glossy eyes stared at her best friend. "You are beautiful inside and out. He didn't deserve your love, he wasn't worthy enough, he couldn't handle it so he went and mess with random hoes, but that's okay. God has a plan for you, a plan for you to succeed, a plan for you to be loved and cherished by the right one. He was just the example on what you don't need. What we are going to do, is work on you. Remember when I made the promise back in high school, not matter what problems or hurdles you experience, I'll always have your back?"
"That was like ten years ago Steph." She mumbled with a chuckle.
"Exactly, and that still stands today. I've made a promise to you, my sister and my mother that no matter what happens I'll be there to make sure you don't have to cry tonight and as my best friend, that's how I show my love to you. Now get your ass up because we going out tonight."
