Never in his life he thought he would've been caught in addiction.

His mother tried every day of his adolescent years to make sure he stayed within the right crowd, that he focused on the basketball and not caught up the block.

She tried her hardest to make sure the herb or the white powder didn't become his best friend, his caretaker.

She prayed that he wouldn't need a gun for protection. That he wouldn't get caught up in the drama of drugs.

She prayed that he wouldn't get addicted to alcohol, as his new life brought parties after parties. She prayed that his soul would stay as pure as it can.

That he wouldn't be sad. That we wouldn't turn to the substances that would ruin to his life.

However, he has failed her.

This drug was nothing that he had seen before. It allowed him to feel every emotion. It had him on rollercosters. Feeling everything around him.

His teammates thought he was insane.

His mother worried about him.

The public questioned him about it.

All he would turn and say, that it's the drug that's is keeping him alive today.

His body would go through nasty withdrawals with out it.

Tantrums
Threats
Breaks downs

You name it.

This drug was something that he craved.

Something that he needed.

As he sat in the circle that his family and friends forced him to attended, he simply introduced himself.

"My name is Josh Jackson and I'm addicted to a drug named Y/N."

Good Morning my loves and yes I am up early as hell.

This piece is kind of emotional/deep. I've been writing a lot deep pieces because that's legit my mood and I just wanted to try something.

Don't worry majority of the rest of the series is pretty lighthearted lol.
