"The vote is in. The government won," the reporter was in tears. "The backup vote is also in. The gas will be distributed tomorrow. Everyone is to report to the Trade Center by 10 P.M. tomorrow for our self-extinction. Oh God. I'm so sorry!" she said as she broke down. The scene changed.
I gasped as I fell back unto the couch. All around me, I heard wails and shrieks telling me everyone heard the news. We all wanted the vote to be negative. We all voted negative, but everyone knew the government was too powerful. And now we would pay with our lives.
A gunshot rang out. The execution had begun.
