Chapter 5

Alicia's P.O.V

I had to admit that I was really nervous when I found out we're going to the Thompsons. Amanda, my cousin kept on bugging me about not to trust Jason, that he will just hurt me in the end. I don't know what's wrong with her but as soon as we're getting ready she appeared in front of me dresseg in weird clothing. Her hair was in braided pig tail, her clothes? It was ridiculous. I blinked several time and examined her. This was the first time I saw her so... simple and not that... good.

I don't know if my dear cousin was gone crazy or that's what a new fashion trend now. She's a model like Jason but she has different name in modeling world. I wonder if he still can recognize her by the way she looks right now.

Amanda smirked at me as we headed downstairs where my parents were waiting for us. They gasped as they saw my cousin.

"Oh my gosh Amanda, what happened to you!" Mom asked her with concerned on her face.

"What? I'm fine Aunty!"

"No, I mean... why you're... ahm... wearing like that?" Amanda examined herself on the mirror then looked at my mom and smiled.

"It's perfect... Let's go?" She immediately ran out the house while my parents looked at me.

"What's going on with your cousin Alicia Marie Garcia?" Mom asked but I just shrugged at her. "How am I going to explain this to my brother in law."

"Mom, don't worry I think she's.... ahm.. fine?"

We arrived at the Thompson's and Jason's parents greeted us warmly. I looked around the house expecting to see Jason, then he came out from nowhere and greeted us too. I'm more surprised when Aunty Jane (Jason's Mom) asked Jason to go to the garden with me. I felt my heartbeat so fast that I thought It's going to explode.

When we're at the garden I remembered that this was the place where we first met and it wasn't good. I thought Jason was still mad at me but I guess I was wrong since he apologized what happened on his birthday. Guilt creeped on me so I decided to apologized too. I was surprised when he asked me to become friends. I agreed but I got more guilty, what if he get mad when he find out that we're getting married. I'm going to tell him about the marriage thing when he suddenly invited me to go inside. I decided then that today is probably not the right time.

We're eating alone at the dining table since our parents left talking about our wedding I guess, while Amanda went to the washroom. Suddenly I saw Louis came inside and grabbed his own plate and foods. Whoa he acts like he was just at his own house.

"Cool breakfast at 10:30." he said after he glanced to his watch.

"Why you're here? Don't you have a house and your own condo unit?" Jason asked.

"Yeah I know but I want to eat real food, and our maid is on vacation." Louis answered and glanced at me then smiled. "I didn't noticed you're here!"

"You already know each other?" Jason asked.

"Yeah, not only me but also Harry and Brandon." Louis responded "Don't worry Alicia and I were just friends." Jason punched him to his arm and Louis started to laughed while I felt my cheeks were burning.

"I didn't know you're going to have another visitor!" We all looked at Amanda as she sat down beside me. 

Louis then stood up and got a glass and filled it with juice.

"Who is she?" Louis asked Jason as if we're not around. Seriously?

"She's Amanda... Alicia's cousin!" Jason said and Louis spluttered his drink and choked. "Oh...kay... we'll be right back ladies!" Jason left as he guided Louis outside.
