Chapter 6

Jason's P.O.V

Brandon and I walked far where Alicia and Liana can't hear us. When I know that we're far enough I faced Brandon who was behind me.

 "Really Brandon?" I said and glanced at Liana once more as I ran my hands through my  hair, I felt like I'm going crazy. "I thought we're best friends, but why you're hiding this.. WHY??"

"You don't understand Liana and I were just friends." Brandon defended but I'm not buying it.

"Friends? Yeah right. In case you forgot she's a Crawford, the daughter of your father's rival in business." I said furiously. "Man... of all girls, why her?"

"I know and I never forget."   

"Then why? You know the consequences if your Dad's finds out, right?."

"Are you sure it's just about my Dad finding out between me and Liana?" He looked at me fiercely "Or you just can't accept the fact that I'm friends with your EX GIRLFRIEND's... twin sister?"

I was stiffened from where I was standing, to be honest I didn't expect Brandon's going to say that. Lizella Crawford became my girlfriend when we we're sixteen but she cheated on me. From that time onwards   I don't want to see her twin sister Liana. Thankfully I never turned out like Louis who became a player.

"You didn't answer my question." Brandon said as I gulped and sighed.

"I'm just warning you, WE ARE BEST FRIENDS after all!" I reminded him. "I'm concerned about you, and I already moved on.. it's been two years now after Lizella cheated on me."

"Sorry J.J I guess I was just afraid. When Louis caught  me and Liana last time, he was actually like you. I--I was"

"Stop! That's fine I'll keep this as a secret" Brandon's face lightened up and glanced to Liana. Although I'm against about their so called  'friendship' I have to let Brandon since he looks happy with Liana anyway.

"Thank you J.J" he smiled but there's still guilt written on his face. "So... you're with Alicia huh." I looked at Alicia who were still busy talking to Liana.

"Yeah, it's her birthday and I think this is a good idea for my first step." I said with a smirk on my face. "I'm going to make her fall for me and left her afterwards."

Brandon's eyes widened "Don't tell me... she's the girl you encountered at your garden in to your birthday?" I nodded, still with a smirk on my face.

"You're right." I tapped his shoulder while he looks at me like I'm crazy.

"Jason you're not going to do that, you're going to hurt her." I just shrugged at him. "I'm going to tell this to your parents." he warned.

"Then I'll tell your Dad about you and Liana" I don't know but I find it funny how we were threatening each other. I know I don't have a proof but I was determined to keep Brandon's mouth shut. I don't want to threatened him but that was the only idea I could think of.

"Fine. Now I know that your best friend is your worst enemy." I laughed so hard after he said that.

"Oh well I agree. C'mon let's go to our dates and go to separate ways." I said and we walked back to Liana and Alicia.

The four of us bade goodbye to each other and went to different ways. I invited Alicia to eat to the nearest Italian restaurant in the amusement park, and she agreed. We ordered Spaghetti alla puttanesca, Lasagna, Coda alla vaccinara, Panzanella, and Gelato. There food was really good especially their wine Lambrusco. Since I was so hungry I focused on eating my spaghetti and not on what Alicia keep on talking about.

"Hey Jason!" I looked at Alicia while chewing my spaghetti "You have a sauce near to your lips!"I tried to wipe the sauce around my mouth.

"Here, let me." Alicia leaned forward and wiped the sauce, which gave me a shock. "Done!"

"Why did you do that?"

"I-I just want to help you... I'm sorry!" She looked down at her plate. I sighed and shook my head.

"Just... don't do that again!" I said and continue eating my food.

Alicia's P.O.V

I don't know what's wrong with Jason. It's all started when we saw Liana and Brandon together at the amusement park after that he acted weirdly. Earlier in the Italian restaurant I kept on talking to him about how kind Liana is and that she asked me to be her friend, but he just keep on eating. Then when I wiped the sauce near his lips he began to get mad at me.

Right now he's driving me home and none of us we're talking. He was focused on driving and not even looking at me. I thought I could spend my birthday with him, yes I spent my birthday with him but  it seems that his mind was far away. I wonder what he and Brandon talked about earlier.

 "Thanks for the ride!" I said as soon as we arrived to our house.

"No problem!" he touched my right hand and kissed it, then he looked at me and smile. "I'm sorry about what happened earlier. To make it up to you why don't we go out again tomorrow?"

"Are you sure?" He nodded. "Well then of course I love to go!"

"Great then I'll pick you up tomorrow at nine in the morning!"

"Okay!" I unbuckle my seat belt and ready to open the passenger door when Jason suddenly called my name. I turned around to face him but to my surprised our lips met.

Our lips moved together and I felt like I'm going to melt. I placed my hands to his hair and played with it while his hands touched my cheeks down to my neck.

"Ehem!" Jason and I pulled away immediately and I can't even look at him because surely my cheeks were burning. I looked outside and found out it was Amanda who caught us. "Sorry for the interruption guys!" she said while grinning.

"That's fine. We were just ahmm.. saying good bye to each other!" Jason said while scratching the back of his head.

"Really? I didn't know  that now a days people should say their good bye to each other by kissing. Kissing means mouth-to mouth" Amanda said still grinning, I know her and she loves to tease people. Meanwhile Jason  was dumbfounded and can't even say anything.

"Okay now Amanda let's go inside." I said then turned to Jason." Ahm Thanks again." He nodded and I went out of his car.

"See you tomorrow." Jason yelled and drove away faster. I turned to Amanda and smacked her arm.

"Ouch, what's that for?" She asked while laughing. "Wait, is that A.) For interrupting your kiss with Jason? B.) it's letter A? Or... is it C.) all of the above?"

"Oh my gosh Amanda Celine Gomez stop it!"

"Is his kiss good? I'm sure it's good." Amanda laughed once more and I can't help but to smile. Jason was a good kisser, I bet he kissed a lot of girls and just thinking about it, it makes me jealous!

"I don't get you. Before, you said you don't like him for me."

"Yes I know but who cares you're going to get married with him anyway."

Jason's P.O.V

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Why did I kissed her? Aargh!

Well I have to admit I love to kiss her and if only her cousin didn't interrupted us then... whoa wait a minute. Seriously Jason? You have to stop thinking about the kiss. It's just a kiss... just a kiss. Your plan is to make Alicia fall in love with you not to think about what happened inside your car.
