Clank as Pinocchio

Ratchet and XJ-0461 (Clank) meet

Down on Planet Earth and in the Apogee Station, Talwyn Apogee was fixing Cronk. As Ratchet walking towards outside, Talwyn see Ratchet's leaving and asked, " Ratchet, where are you going? " Ratchet said, " Outside. I need some fresh air. "

She watched him out the door. Zephyr said, " Poor Ratchet. He's still upset about being the last Lombax on Earth. " Cronk said, "Hey! Don't keep reminded about Ratchet's life! "

Talwyn sighed. She wished that she could do something to make her friend feel better.

Outside of the station, Ratchet looked up at the night sky sadly and said, " I wish I have a brother. "

Then he see a ship falling from the sky and crashed down far from the town. " Whoa. " Ratchet said before he grabbed his slingshot, hopped on the rocket sled and drives to the crash sight.

He gasped when he sees a ship that is on flames. He jumped down and slingshot over the ship before goes down.

Ratchet asked, " Hello? Anyone in there? " He looked inside the ship and gasped when he sees the little robot that is out cold. Ratchet got the robot out and slingshot up just before the ship explode. He placed him down and used the light of the green creature with his Omniwrench.

Ratchet said, " No vector shell damage. Sister board appears to be intact. "

Then XJ-0461 woke up, banged on Ratchet's head, and said, " I have to find someone. " Ratchet asked, " Who? Who are you looking for? " He said, "Someone who is very lonely. I must find them. " Ratchet said, " Hang on, slow down. You've been in a crash. What do you say we get you back to the station. I'll run diagnosis and have you fix up in no time. " XJ-0461 said, " Thank you. I appreciate the assistance. " He said, " It's no problem. So, what can I call you? " The little robot said, " My name is XJ-0461. "

" But all Clank do is keep on shaking. " Or keep shaking. It's cool too. "

Later, Ratchet takes Clank to the station. Clank met Talwyn, Cronk, and Zephyr while Ratchet is fixing Clank's leg that is injured. Ratchet said after he fixed, " There. How do you feel? " Clank said, " Fully operational. " He said, " Sweet. "

Talwyn asked, " So, what are you doing here on Earth? " Clank said, " I am on a mission of the galactic importance. " Ratchet asked, " Galactic importance? Oh boy, you must have ruptured your CPU.
