FLASHBACK
I pull away smiling, "I love you too." We put our foreheads together and we both have giant smiles plastered on our faces.

~2 months later~
It's been two months since Jack and I said 'I love you' and we couldn't be happier. My birthday was tomorrow and I was super excited. September 7. Jack's is on the 10, and I love how our birthdays are so close together.
I was in my room getting ready because me, Jack, Shay, and Jake were all going shopping. I wore a white crop top with an army green jacket over it, some light wash jeans and my old school vans.
I sat in my room for about 20 minutes before Jack runs in and jumps onto the bed, laying on top of me. "Hi," I laugh looking at Jack as he's laying on me.
"Hello, beautiful," he smiled and pecked my lips. "I missed you...!"
"Jack, baby, I just saw you yesterday—"
"Too long!" He interrupted me. "So, you excited for tomorrow...?" He wiggled his eyebrows.
"Sure am! Where's Jake?"
"With Shay. Where else?" He laughed, rolling over to the other side of the bed. Shay and Jake, huh? What cutiessss!!!
"I love them! They're so cute!!" I smile.
"I know right! But they're only seven."
"Well who knows, maybe I'll like you enough to stick around," I smile.
"And I might just like YOU enough to keep you around." He smiles back, getting off of the bed and pulling me up with him.
"Alright guys. You ready?" Jack asks as we walk into Shay's room.

After the shopping trip, it was already 10 PM. The kids have school tomorrow. Whoops.Jack wanted to stay over, so Katherine came to get Jake from my house.
"Jack, let's play fortnite." I pause the tv and take my phone out.
"Okay..." he smiles.
"Where are you...?" I was concentrating so hard on the game that I didn't even see my mom come in.
I was laying on my stomach towards the tv and Jack was laying over my body (A/N: sort of making a plus sign type of shape {+}).
When mom walked in, she stood at my dresser for a minute. When I did see her, I said, "hold on, mom. Wait for me to die." She didn't say anything.
I finally died after killing Jack at least 3 times. "Okay. I'm dead. What do you want?" I asked, putting the phone down and looking up at my mom.
"First: some respect," she said in that motherly tone she always has when I give her an 'attitude', "and second: you guys do know you have to put down the video games eventually and get ready for adulthood like soon. Jack. Listen." Jack put down his phone and looked at my mom. Mom treats Jack as if he's her son, to be honest. "Ash, you're turning 18 tomorrow. You will be an adult tomorrow."
"I know, mom."
"Jack. Your birthday is 4 days away. You're going to be an adult in FOUR DAYS!! Y'all need to get off of the stupid game and start making a life plan." Jack and I both made a sort of disgusted face. Neither of us really WANTED to make a plan for the future. "And to make SURE you do what I tell you, give me your phones." Mom holds out her hand and I groan as I put my phone in her hand.
"You know, ma? You can't take my phone from tomorrow on. Because I'll be an adult."
"Actually, I paid for it. I will take it away if I want to." She crosses her arms and leaves the room.
I got out a journal that I have never written in and labeled it 'future'. Jack and I sat there until I had an idea. "We could Pinterest it." I suggest.
"K, if it gets my phone back." He shrugs his shoulders.
I get out my computer and open Pinterest. I then search up 'future plans' and it gives me plans that people have made for their futures. Jack closed my computer. "Babe. we can't take other people's future," he pouts, "this is OUR future." He fiercely pokes my notebook on the word 'our'.
"Ugh. Fine." I put my computer back on my nightstand and start thinking up ideas. "Well, the first step is to get jobs."
"We have jobs."
"Well then the first step is done," I write down 'jobs' in my notebook and check it off.
"House?" I suggest.
"Together?" He seems a little nervous.
"Yeah, I guess so. What's wrong?"
"Nothings wrong. That just makes me nervous." He clarifies. I lean over to him and give him a small little hug. "Next." He smiles.
"Hmm..." I fake thought. I have been hinting this next thing at him for weeks! "Kids...?" I smile.
"Ash!" He shoots me a glare.
"Geez I'm sorry." I throw my hands up in surrender. "Lemme ask you this though. Why don't you want to have kids?"
"I'm not ready! We've only been together for like 3 months!" He started to look a little bit sad.
"Jack. I want YOU to be the man I have my children with. Not some other guy!"
"And, babe. I wanna have kids with you, too. Just not yet." He sits up and plants a kiss on my cheek.
"Fine, Fine. What's next?" I pout.
"Umm..." he thought. "I dont know. Let's just wing it."
I laugh, "Okay." I then yell for my mom, "MOM!!!!!!!"
"MOM NUMBA 2!!!" Jack yells at the same time as me and we both smiled.
"Can we have our phones back?" I ask as she walks through the room.
"What'd ya get done?" I hand her the notebook and take my phone out of her hand. "This is not done."
"Mom. We're not gonna be able to make a plan for our future. We don't know what's gonna happen in our lives or what order they're suppose to go in." And with that, she left my room. Jack and I were already almost asleep, so we just laid down and dozed off.

I'm gonna think up some days that I'm normally free. Love you all so, so much!! Thanks for listening to my little rant lol. I just wrote whatever was going on in my mind. ;)))
Have an amazing day/night, you beautiful/handsome human being!
