I woke up at 7:15, finding everybody gone. And when I say everybody, I mean everybody. Ashton wasn't even here, which I found a little strange. I was getting ready, when I heard the door slam. I was scanning my drawers for some clothes, when I heard the footsteps become closer.
Oh god, please no. I'm only in my panties and bra. I hear a knock on my door, and I hear Ashton's voice. "Hey, I got you breakfast. I came to deliver it."
I couldn't help but smile. I let out a chuckle, and then again realized my current situation. "You can't come in." I said, loud enough for him to hear me.
"Why not?" He questioned in a teasing manner.
"Because I'm only in my panties and bra." I couldn't hear him, but I knew he was smirking.
"That just gives me a better reason to come in." He said, pausing before continuing. "I'm coming in." He said, while evilly laughing, but actually laughing still.
I quickly scooted under my bed, surrounding myself in blankets. The door creaked open, and I saw him carrying a styrofoam box.
Almost like he could hear my breathing, he checked under my bed, moving the blankets slightly, uncovering the lace outlining of my bra.
"Ahah." He said, and I was now able to see his smirk.
Knowing he saw me, I came out.
Being demanding I said, "Give me my darn breakfast and get out." He looked taken back. I shoved at his stomach, but he didn't move a muscle. He took in my body.
"Dang girl. I like what I see." He commented, and I blushed, while rolling my eyes too. Annoyed at him for barging out, I tried to kick him out.
"Sorry, but I'm still mad at you, and breakfast doesn't fix that, but nice try!" I say, laughing it off.
"Really, cuz you don't seem that mad?" He asked, seriously.
"I'm mad, I just understand where you're coming from in not telling me, so I'm not judging you. If you know what I mean." I said, raising my eyebrows.
I pulled out some black leggings and paired it with the same sweatshirt I wore to bed last night.
Before I walked out of the room, he stopped me, gently taking hold of my arm. Sparks shot through me, and I blushed at his touch.
"Do you want to wear that out?" He said, gesturing to the sweatshirt.
"Yeah, why not?" I replied, confused.
"Well, people might think we're a thing or something." He said, nervously.
"Awe, you're cute when you're nervous. Besides, let people think. It's not actually true."
He shrugged, going along with it.
But I couldn't help but notice he looked a little down when I said that it wasn't true.
We were walking down the stairs, when I grabbed my keys, forgetting my car isn't cranking.
He looked at me confused, and I shrugged my shoulders. "What?"
"Your car isn't working." He reminded me, chuckling.
"Oh yeah." I laughed, feeling stupid for forgetting.
"I'll fix it." Shrugging his shoulders, he walked out, signaling end of discussion.
"No you won't." I said, as hopping in his car.
"Just let me. There are some guys at a shop I go to who owe me. It won't cost a dime." He said, simply.
"Okay." I said, knowing I wouldn't win the battle in the long run.
