"Stop shouting," Jimins voice was barely above a whisper, and both Yoongi and Daisy let out a sigh of relief when they heard him, "I'm trying to sleep while I can,"

"Thank God, you're alright," Yoongi said, "Don't do that again, Jimin, we were so worried,"

Jimin huffed, "I can't die. Bee would kill me," He let out a painful cough that sounded like he was trying to laugh, "She'd be at my funeral screaming 'I told you so!'"

"I don't think we're going to get a funeral," Daisy whimpered, "The Wendigo is going to eat us alive,"

"Wendigo?" Yoongi muttered, "Is that what it is?" He went quiet for a moment, and all that could be heard was the ragged sounds of Jimins breathing, and the slow drip drip of the waters dropping off the walls.

"I played a game, once," He muttered after a while, "I know it's just a game, and that thing doesn't look like the Wendigo in the game, but it was weak to fire,"

Jimin grunted, "In that TV show that Bee watched because of the 'hot brothers' there was one that was weak to fire, too,"

"Jungkook said it's only weakness is fire," Daisy said quietly. She had shifted her body a little so she was facing away from the corpse hanging next to her, but she could still feel it's lifeless eyes staring at her.

"I have that lighter in my back pocket," Yoongi said, "Maybe we could use it to make some sort of fire,"

"Good idea," Jimin grunted, "Hold still and I'll reach into your pocket and get it- Oh wait. I can't. I'm a bit tied up right now, you'll have to do it yourself,"

"Funny," Yoongi snapped, "At least I'm trying to think of a way out!"

"Kim and Jungkook will come," Daisy said firmly, "They promised, they will come,"

There was a sudden loud growl reverberate around the cavern, followed by the thudding footsteps of the creature.

"It's back," Yoongi whispered, unable to hide the terror in his eyes, despite how hard he was trying for Daisy.

Jungkook took a deep sigh of relief as he saw the sun start to peak over the horizon. It had been a long night, and the fire was dying down; this time he allowed it to.

Kim was curled up on the grass as small as she could get underneath Jungkooks large jacket. He didn't want to wake her, she obviously needed to rest, but she didn't have that luxury.

"Kim," He said, crouching down and gently shaking her shoulder, "It's time to get up,"

Kim groaned a little and sat up, rubbing  at her eyes, "I fell asleep?" She muttered, almost to herself, "Did it come back?"

Jungkook paused, before opting to tell her the truth, "Yes," He said, "But it just stood on the other side of the stream. It didn't come closer,"

Kim shuddered, "That thing is terrifying,"

"Yes," Jungkook agreed, helping her to her feet, "But you're brave, and you can face your fear,"

"I'm not so sure," Kim mumbled, "If it wasn't for you, I don't know what I'd do,"

"Then it's a good job I'm here," Jungkook said, smiling a little, "I'm going to get them back for you, I promise,"

Kim tried to smile, but she was too exhausted. The night had been long and full of horror, and all she could think of was her family, trapped in the clutches of the Demon. She didn't know if they were alive or not, and she was worried about what kind of condition she would find them in; if she found them at all.

"We should reach the mountain today," Jungkook said, hefting his rifle so it was over his shoulder, "It shouldn't come out and bother us on the way, but its behaviour is so unpredictable recently that I can't make any promises,"

Kim nodded and handed Jungkooks jacket back to him.

Jungkook placed a hand on her shoulder, "Don't worry, I'll protect you," He cleared his throat a little, "And thank you for last night. You made me feel better,"

"How?" Kim asked, confused.

"You reminded me that it wasn't real, and that I need to stay focused. If you weren't there, the situation might have been different,"

This time, Kim did manage to smile, "Well, you helped me a lot more than I helped you. I'm ready, shall we get going?"

With a nod, Jungkook headed over the last dying embers of the fire, "We have a lot of ground to cover with not much time. Let's go,"
