Effy was finally allowed to have close family visit. She was locked in her room so she wouldn't be able to disturb other patients.
Effy's mom came in and sat in the chair by the bed, Effy was standing, staring out the window knowing her mom was there but not moving. " I have someone who really wants to see you, I thought it might help." She motioned out the door for someone to come in.
He walked in, he was tall and skinny. He now stood right behind Effy, he wrapped his arms around her waist caring, Effy started to cry not because she was sad but because he made her happy, her kissed the top of her head then rested his head. It was Tony.
Their mom said "well you have a lot to talk about I'll be back in a little while."
"Tony, what are you doing here?"
"I've come here to see what the hell is going on? Effy, you don't belong here and everyone knows it, you are here by choice"
"I don't know anymore..." Effy told Tony about everything.
He then told Effy everything about his life now, and about Sid and Michelle. Then they laid on the bed together like when they were little kids. Facing one another until the nurse came in.
"Effy, visiting hours are over, time to say good bye." the nurse said politely.
"Alright, good bye Tony." Effy said. They hugged, she never wanted to let go.
