Hinata sighed as he continued to ride his bike up a steep hill. His legs push down on the bike pedals. Today was anything but an ordinary day. In fact, it was probably the most disturbing day of his life. It was filled with blushing, weird feelings in his stomach, and a lot of stammering. It was also filled with tripping and falling into Kageyama's arms. He didnt choose to! It was all an accident!
It all started with Hinata running into the gym. He forgot there were steps before the gym door. With that said, he tripped, only to have the setter grab him.
After that, Hinata could barely focus on practice either. He missed every one of Kageyama's tosses and his crappy recieves got worse. In fact, it hit Nishinoya's face. Obviously, that earned him his senpai's wrath.
Kageyama wasn't doing so hot himself. He screwed up all the tosses, which wasn't normal. It probably didn't help that both boys constantly eyed each other, but the team never asked. They simply worked around their mistakes.
Hinata felt his face burn up. There was also a light feeling that lurked in his stomach which distracted him from pedaling. He also hated the fact that the duo didn't say a word to each other. It got kinda lonely, but something stumped the middle-blocker. If Kageyama hated his guts, why did he catch him?
Question flooded his mind. All those weird feelings stopped. Suddenly, Hinata became unsteady, causing his foot to slip off the bike pedal. The orange-haired boy shot his feet to the floor to stay balanced. Hinata was breathing hard, his legs twitching and his head spinninng. Now he was really confused. He doesn't remember having a hard time riding a bike up these mountains, even after practice. Why is this time any different?
Hinata silently cursed. "Baka Kageyama," Hinata groaned.
A few pedals later, the pain hit him harder. The pain started to bother the boy so much, he stopped pedaling. Hinata didn't know where he was until he looked up from the ground. He was right in front on his street. He made it up the hill.
"Thank the gods," Hinata spoke as he forced himself to ride down the street.
After minutes of unsteady biking, the boy reached his house. He placed his bike in its regular spot and slowly strolled inside. Hinata took his shoes off and placed them in his gym bag. He clung onto the walls for support while walking softly, hoping to get to his room unnoticed. The last thing he wanted was to worry his mother. If that happened, he couldn't go to practice.
He creeped up the stairs and reached his door. Hinata twisted the gold knob and shoved the door open, revealing a suprisingly neat room. Hinata kicked the door shut with his heel and dropped his bags. By then, everything got worse. Hinata had a hard time walking and his head started throbbing. The pale boy went straight to his comfy bed and crashed down. After feeling this excruciating, Hinata just wants sleep.
"Hopefully it won't be a problem tomorrow," Hinata murmured into the pillow before fell asleep.
