Summer Band

Chapter 1:First Day

Jo's (POV)

"Jo........Maya come get breakfast you have to get ready for band camp"said Mom.I Jumped out of bed hitting Maya in the head with a pillow just like every other day.Maya woke up happy as every she went up to me and said"Is today what I think it is?. I replied"If you think we are going to play instruments then your correct." We rushed on are best clothes I wearied a sky blue shirt (my favorite color) , a mint green short, and a blue and pink converse. Maya wearied a pink jacket with pink shorts,and pink converse,Did I tell you her favorite color was pink. We raced down stairs and ate are breakfast as fast as a snail.We jumped into the car and waited for are mom to start the car. "Mom hurry we can't be late on are first day"Maya screamed at the top of her lungs."One second May am making lunch for you guys" Mom replied. Coming back with two Barbie lunch boxes and a bagel.Startin the car Me and Maya played Truth or Dare it was Maya's Turn. "Truth or dare" Maya said smiling. " Dare " I said knowing I would regret it and I did "I Dare you to go to the Flute section and tell them they suck at playing."Said Maya. It was my turn "Truth or Dare"I asked Maya. Maya said "Truth". "Is it true that you think Trumpet Sucks?"I asked. "No this guy there named Sam the best there"Maya Answered. "I though that guy was going to New York and told the whole Trumpet session that they were Nice"I said smiling. There we were Blanche Ely High School... We ran out of the car screaming BAND!!!!!
