So, in this story Charles and Erik have been together for just over seven years. They've always lived apart but a few months into their relationship Erik was introduced to Hank, Charles foster son. Since then Erik has been a part of the lives of all the children Charles takes care of. The Foster system in this is entirely fictional as I have no idea about any of the processes, if this offends anyone then I'm sorry but this entire thing is a work of fiction anyway. Charles is the foster father of five children at the start of this, I'm not sure whether that number will change. Charles is 35 and Erik is a little older than him at 39. Hank has no biological siblings. Wanda and Pietro are biologically brother and sister. Alex and Scott are twins.
The kids ages are:
Hank- 17
Wanda- 15
Alex and Scott- 10
Pietro- 7
Each of the kids' backstories are different and they each ended up in Charles care in different ways. Hank has been there the longest at ten years and he is pretty much Charles' son; they both feel that way anyway. Erik is like another father to them, none of them were there when he wasn't around so they don't know any different.
This is really just family domestic fluff, there is no real plot other than Erik moving in with them. But he pretty much lives there anyway.
