Chapter 2; Start . . .
(Vincent)
"So, what is there to know about you Avery?" Asked Chiharu.
"Well, there isn't much to tell but that I'm from New Orleans and I played football up until I started focusing on my schoolwork my final year." Avery explained.
"Oh, how neat." She smiled.
"What about you? Avery asked Michael.
"I'm from Liverpool, rich family but left to see the world. Mainly to understand the differences in cultures." Michael stated.
"Shui, was it?" Michael asked.
"Yes it is." She confirmed. "I'm from the western side of the United States. Mother is from China and Father is from New York."
"Shirisha?" Shui asked with a small smile.
"I'm from India, nothing more, nothing less." She stated with a little to no accent in her voice.
"What about you Chiharu?" Shui moved on.
"I'm from Japan, but I moved to Kansas City in the States when I turned five-years old." She explained.
"You?" Shirisha asked me.
"Same place as Chiharu, we were neighbors after her family moved here." I answered the Indian Princess.
"Oh, how nice." Shui intervened.
"Yeah well, we helped each other get here and we are gonna keep doing that." I nodded. "How about you Leilani? What did you do before coming here?"
With a killer glare, Leilani leaned against a wall with her feet and arms crossed as she spoke.
"Like you all heard, I'm from the outer islands of Hawaii. My people are a warrior tribe and I was trained with the other children how to fight and defend ourselves."
"Really? I thought only the men were taught how to fight?" Michael asked.
"I'm the Chief's daughter, I was taught how to fight and defend myself by the best." She reaffirmed her statement.
"So in other words, you are our Ace?" I claimed.
"In a matter of speaking, yes, if we use your terms than yeah. I'd be the Ace." She added with that distant demeanor of hers.
A second later, that woman named Rochelle returned with a red-headed right woman right on her heels.
"Now then, since she is now here, lets get this meeting started shall we?" Rochelle informed.
