2 years later...

So I'm starting my second year of college this year and I couldn't be more excited.

I love the way my life has been for the past year, I would say 2, but after- what happened, it took me about a year to get over E- him.

Oh, sorry I forgot to say, we don't mention his name anymore. It helps with the process of getting over him, which I actually think I almost, pretty much have.

Hey, I know what you're thinking, but we were together for a good 2 and a half years. It's really hard to get over someone you've been with for that long. Especially because of the way he treated me, and how I was just too blind to see it.

Anyways, the college I'm currently attending is Taerus Montey Calenaide College. (TAMC college) Tae Montey Calen, is what people usually like to call it. I don't quite know yet what I'll be majoring in, but it is only the beginning of my first semester, so I think I'll have some time to figure that out.

Anyways, today's the first day back from our break for the kids who have already been going to this school and there's a classic annual "Welcome," or, "Welcome Back," party tonight! But, it's going to start later on because mostly everybody who is just starting this semester is spending time moving their stuff back into their dorms so that they can get settled in before the party starts, which includes me.

half an hour later...
"Lena, you need to stop taking 10 minutes in the bathroom."
"Well, excuse me, but I didn't know that somebody needed to be anywhere anytime soon?" she says with that look in her eyes as if I wasn't telling her something and her lips start to form a mischievous smile.

"I don't, sadly, but we need to get ready soon so that we can help out for tonight's party!"
"Help out? What do you mean help out? Why doesn't the staff just set it up themselves?"
she says, grunting like a five year old, while she flops onto her bed like a lifeless corpse.

"Because, they are going to need a lot more help with so many things to be done and placed in such a small amount of time!"
I say, hopefully convincingly.

"But, I just don't see how-"

"Leennaaa,"
I beg with my lip sticking out.
"Pleaseee, just get up?"

I pull her by her arms while she unwillingly pulls back until I finally get her to sit up on her own.

While grunting and folding her arms, she finally gives in..

"Fineee, but, I still have one more thing to do before we leave that I'd like you to help me with.."

"Of course, what is it?!"
I say with that kind of tone in my voice where a girl who feels genuinely proud of herself for convincing her, non-laboring friend, to help out for the party tonight, would sound like.

"I just need to finish putting my art up on the walls on my side of the room."

"oh, okay, sure."

I walk over to her 2 big boxes that are labeled 'my art', and start placing her stuff all over the walls on her side of the room.

About a good hour later of rearranging and deciding what art that she made that I could hang up on my side of the rooms wall, we were finally finished with the decor, or, last part of our room.

"Okay, now we need to go down and help out.."

"Okay, lets go then."

We finish up packing the last few things in our box and head out the door.

4 hours later..

"Okay, but holy shit."
I say, as I flop onto my bed in exhaustion.

"No, no, no, no, no! Look, I know you're tired, but we're having a party tonight, and I am not going to go out and party knowing that my friend will be in her pajamas sleeping like a baby while her friend is out having the time of her life! Sorry, but you don't have the time to be tired tonight."
She says, folding her arms while she rests her weight on one side of her hip.
