EXTRA LONG CHAPTER! ENJOY~~

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my alarm clock. At first, it was just another thing until I remembered I didn't fall asleep in my own room. I sat up frantically. Someone groaned next to me and I almost fell out of the bed I jumped so high.

Fearing it was Damian, I peeled back the covers, slowly.

Megan growled at me and threw the covers back over her head.

"Cooooooold!" She moaned. Relief flooded over me like a Japanese tsunami and I sighed. Thank God! My heart, mind, body, nor soul would have been ready for... that other thing. I shuddered.

Jumping out of bed, I got ready for the day. I think after class I might go running, if I have time. Not for any reason other than, whenever I feel like I'm missing out on nature, I go for a run. It's as simple as that. I was raised with a lot of animals so living in a concrete jungle is a little lonely. Only animals here are squirrels and pigeons and rich girl dogs. It's boring without all of the monkey's, peacocks, tigers, and parrots.

To explain, my mother is a zooligist. I've seen more rare animals in my life than the crazy cat lady downstairs. But since I'm never here, I never got a pet. I know that leaving them alone for too long damages them and I wouldn't want to do that to him/ her.

As I walk into the living room, yawning, an exotic smell hits me like a brick. I stagger backwards as I sniff the air. Is that... bacon? Speed walking to the kitchen, I see the cousins making breakfast. Bryan was whisking pancake batter like a pro and Damian was frying bacon, PLUS making scrambled eggs. What... the... fluff...! Is there anything he-they can't do?

Brain: Well they can't not look good at every time of the day apparently.

I just stood there, completely mesmerized. I was kind of drooling too. What? The smell is entoxicating. can a girl not drool over some food? Plus the sight of two very handsome men working in my kitchen is like looking in the garden of Eden itself. Breathtaking.

Damian, with his back to me says, "Bryan, you ready to put the pancakes on the pan?" Bryan nods and picks up the glass bowl filled with batter and skillfully pours some onto the skillet. "Alright. I'm gonna go wake the girls up. You watch the food." Damian says mischievously.

"Don't do anything perverted." Bryan warns.

Damian laughs as he walks out of the kitchen. Then he sees me. "HOLY SHIT!" He shouts. I grin and wave. "Don't do that! At least warn us before you sneak up on us." When he says that, I frown as if saying, 'How? Wear a bell around my neck? I'm mute remember?' He seems to realize that what he said was insensitive and apologizes.

I wave my hand as if dismissing him and walk over to Bryan. I tap his shoulder then wave.

"Hey Treble. Are you hungry? I made you a bunch of food." My mouth starts watering and I nod vigorously. "Oh yeah. I hope you don't mind me being here. Damian told me he wanted to surprise you with our amazing cooking skill--" Damian punched him in the stomach.

"You talk too much." He grumbles. My eyes widen and my hands subconsciously travel to Bryan's arm. Was he okay?

"I'm fine." Bryan answers my unspoken concern. "I work out too." He says, lifting his shirt to reveal his six pack. What was it about guys and showing me their abs?! I can't help but stare!

Damian comes out of nowhere are puts his arm around my eyes in an attempt to hide his cousins really attractive, golden tanned abs. Wow these guys are sexy.

"Cover up Bryan! I already claimed this one! Go console her friend. This one's mine."

The hell? I'm sorry, but when did I lose my humanity and become an object? Last I checked, I'm still a woman and we still have rights. I shove Damian off me and glare at him. Then I go into the living room and nibble on the leftover gummy bears from last night.

Was I supposed to be flattered? Because if he was trying to flatter me, he'd better go find his book of pick up lines and cross that off with a note that says to never do that again.

In the kitchen, I hear Bryan criticizing Damian's remarks and Damian apologizing to the wrong one. "Don't tell me. Tell her." I hear Bryan urge.

Then I hear Damian walk in and feel the couch dip next to me. When I hear him inhale as if he's about to say something, I turn my head away. I known I'm being petty, but right now, I couldn't care less.

"Treble look at me." I cross my arms and pout. "Treble." He whines, stretching my name out. 'I don't want to.'

"Treble I'm sorry. I didn't mean it in the way you took it. What I meant to say was, I don't want to share you with anyone else. I don't want anyone looking at you and I don't want you looking at anyone other than me." He explains.

'We're not dating. You're not my boyfriend. I can do whatever the hell I want. You don't own me.' I text.

*DING*

I don't look at him to see his expression. Instead, I simply stare straight out the window. "How much you wanna bet?" I hear Damian remark. What? I turn around to face him, forcing me to hug him. "I knew it." He murmurs into my hair softly. What is he doing? "Your heart tells my otherwise, Treble. I can feel your heartbeat pounding. Deny it as long as you want to, but I know you want me."

That just made my heart beat faster and the scary thing was, I didn't know if he was right or wrong.

===

Stupid Damian. Stupid, stupid Damian. Making me confused. By now, Megan was awake but her eyes were puffy and red from crying last night. We were sitting at my table eating breakfast. Megan and I opposite Damian and Bryan. It was infuriating how openly he was flirting with me. Every time he winked, I flipped the finger.

"Okay guys, seriously. Your open flirting is about to make me throw up." Bryan mused. I am not flirting! I glared at him and showed him the finger too as he chuckled. "Yeah. I approve of her Dame. Any girl who doesn't blush when I say that is a candidate. But with her looks, she's a keeper." He winks at me.

I look away. Hmph. Flattery will get you nowhere.

Then I hear a giggle and I look at Megan. "How? How have you guys already made me feel better?" She was tearing up now. "I love you guys. You're the best." At that, I crushed her in a hug. Always trust Megan to make me feel better.

She is definitely a sister I never had.
