Pomegranate seeds, seven in all
Ever the trick
Reaching for the sky
Spring's maiden
Even Olympus mourns her loss
Partly Zeus's fault with Hades involved
However long it takes her
Only Demeter never sleeps
Never stopping until she is found
Even if it takes forever
