Yuuri was unsure what he wanted now. Many thoughts and doubts were filling his head, he wanted to see Viktor yet at the same time he wanted to avoid him, and he was thinking about the bad things that may happen when he chooses one of them.
Yuuri and Phichit were talking or having a therapy session on the bench near a Taco truck, so Phichit bought him and Yuuri tacos, to calm Yuuri down. Food always calmed Yuuri down. It made him happy to have different flavours of food on your tongue, the taste buds are like dancing on your tongue, making things fun and energetic.
"So...when me and Viktor used to talk, um...I-I'm scared Phichit." Yuuri admits, Phichit knew what he was feeling, so Phichit took his hand and put it on Yuuri's knee.
"Your knee. Your legs. Your muscle, and skill, the way your able to use this part of your body to dance on the ice in blades...this is a gift. I know I almost risked my gift, but using yours...you have the skill to give a message to all the skaters and skating fans out there. Your soulmate, must love skating, if he doesn't...why is he your soulmate?" Phichit smiles.
"It's funny. You say these things we've all experienced. I know you're almost older than me, but I've felt this way to. When I met my mom...she was totally different from what I imagined. She was nice and warm, I thought she was a monster for giving me up, but turns out...she was scared. I am like you, and my mom is like your soulmate--pfftb! Sorry, that sounded wrong!" Phichit laughs.
Yuuri just sat there, watching Phichit laughs and regrets what he said, and Yuuri was kind of offended yet understandable. Yuuri too always messed up his words anyway, so it was very understandable.
"I-I just mean...I felt this way too. My mother is like Viktor, and I am like you. I was scared to meet her, but I did. I now will never forget her warmth in her hugs." Phichit smiles, looking down at his tacos.
"I-I know now." Yuuri says.
"Viktor may hate me for leaving him, but I barely knew him and he barely knew me, I want to talk to him, to know him. But if he hates me, then I cannot regain what I've lost. I know that, I just realized it now. I want to see him, but if he doesn't want to see me...then fine. I gave up once, I can do it again." Yuuri smiles, he seems more happy than before.
Phichit was proud Yuuri made his decision, but it wasn't confirmed, they both don't even know Viktor.
"I will see him. Not now though. When I am ready, I'll...I'll show him. I'll show him what I am made of!" Yuuri laughs, helping Phichit up and making sure Phichit is using his crutches right.
"Wanna have my tacos, haven't finished it." Yuuri offers, but after that offer something in Yuuri changed. He'd never give away food.
"Uh...Yuuri? It's your food. I bought it for you." Phichit says.
"Oh! I can't have many foods, I did skipped training due to what a wreck I am." Yuuri admits, rubbing the back of his neck.
MEANWHILE
"Get the damn dog!" Yuri yelled, Yuri and Viktor was trying to bathe Makkachin, and Chris was in the kitchen helping himself to coffee while the others were dealing with dog-zilla.
Chris just chuckled after hearing more yelling in the bathroom, and he was just browsing the internet.
'Yuuri' Chris kept mumbling to himself, looking for answers on why Yuuri gave up on Viktor.
"Hey, Chris can you grab me the dish soap near the sink?" Viktor yelled.
"Why?" Chris responded, ruining Chris's thinking too at the moment.
"Because turns out we ran out of soap for Makka!" Yuri yelled, he's angry but it seems he's having fun dealing with Makka. Even though Yuri is a cat person, he isn't allowed to give his cats a bath without him getting hurt. Makka just runs around, spreading water everywhere, and then looking shaggy due to her fur.
"Fine." Chris sighs, getting off the stool and walking towards the sink looking for dish soap. Chris grabs the soap and then saunters to the bathroom. Chris opens the door to see a Viktor who is soaked and a Yuri in the corner with towels covering his clothes to not get wet.
"Here," Chris says, the door behind him was open and then Makka ran out the door, into the living room/kitchen, with bed room door and office door open.
"No! Noo!" Viktor tried to scold her. Didn't worked, Makka wasn't a dog who understood the concept of good or bad, when it came to her actions.
"What the fuck have you done?" Yuri groans. Chris shrugged and just watched Yuri and Viktor chase around the dog. Chris wonders though, when Viktor and Yuuri used to talk, do they both know there full name? Like how Viktor is one of the best skaters in the world. Or Yuuri, probably a chef, ballerina, model, you name it.
"Hey Viktor. Does Yuuri know you're Viktor Nikiforov?" Chris asks, he knows there is a boundary on what to say and when to say it, but Chris is now destroying that exact boundaries. Chris is tired of a loner Viktor, and Viktor only seems to drink after more problems rise up.
Viktor then stops, and thinks. His mind went to full static mode, causing him to freeze and knew what he should've done first, instead of being cautious he could've not cared at all for his sake.
"No." Viktor mumbles.
Chris was not surprised, Viktor hated that people saw him as legend among figure skating, and not as a person who was hurting inside.
Yuri also stopped, knowing how stupid and forgetful Viktor can be, he still had pity for Viktor.
"Hmph. I thought so, just wondering..." Chris says, Viktor looks at him then smiles.
Tears were on his eyes and the smile was a regretful one, "Good," Viktor smiles out.
"I thought you'd give up after seeing my reaction on Yuuri's appearance. I-I still have my string now, but I cannot see it. I just know it is there." Viktor admits. "Sorry, let's go give Makka a proper bath now." Vickotr says wiping his eyes, the tears were't falling but they were there. Viktor knows it.
