Yuuri trusted people, not many but a few. He trusted Phichit, now-- he doesn't know anymore. Yuuri wondered if Phichit even bothered to tell him about his soulmate, how could the man be his soulmate if he's nothing like Phichit? Yuuri was exitting the apartment building, frustrated with his best friend, and himself. A part of him was frustrated with Phichit because he had no right to hide secrets if Yuuri tells him everything. Yuuri even told Phichit about Victor and the burden he thought he would cause.
Yuuri steps out of the building, and takes a breath. He looks at the people in the street, and see taxis, along with people walking their dogs. Yuuri was used to this place when he trusted Phichit, or when he was happy with Phichit, now he's homesick. Yuuri misses home now, he came for Phichit. In hopes he can skate with Phichit, he couldn't. Phichit, maybe Yuuri was overreacting and Phichit would tell Yuuri about his mystery man, but...something in Yuuri's stomach stabbed him. Yuuri was already in a delicate state of soulmates and love and now --add a close friend who has those things into the mix.
Yuuri checks his phone, and see he got many texts from Phichit, and some phone calls too, good thing he kept it on silent. But when will Yuuri return to the apartment? Phichit will be in there waiting to apologize.
Yuuri turned down the volume of the music he's listening too, it was about to rain. He felt little raindrops bouncing off is hood, and sees little water falling separately into one place, the ground, to reunite with family. Yuuri sighs and see he hasn't brought a rain coat, he turns and looks around to see any small stores celling raincoats or an umbrella. He sees a cat, and that caught his attention. "Hey, Mr. Kitty," Yuuri coos, then the cats look at Yuuri with his big blue sharp eyes, and then meows. The cat then walks away as Yuuri watches it, to see where the cat was going. It was an ally cat, so Yuuri made the decision. Feed the cat!
Yuuri kept looking at the streets to find a small supermarket or something. Something that has a raincoat or an umbrella, or even cat food. Yuuri sigh and fixes his glasses, which were perfectly fine, then he breathes in and out, until he had an idea.
He could bring the cat with him! He'll adopt the cat if the cat has no owner whatsoever.
He'll name the cat 'Mika'. Mika the cat.
Yuuri then sees a store, it was about to close until Yuuri ran there, pushing though the people, and then stops. He stops at the door to catch his breath, and Yuuri was really fond of animals, mostly dogs. I miss Vicchan, Yuuri thought. 'I can't believe Mari named Vicchan before I did' Yuuri muttered under his breath.
"Excuse me, is this store still open?" Yuuri asks. The nice cash register lady nodded and excitedly yelled, "Yes!".
Yuuri walked to the different shelves, nothing to keep him dry from the rain but he located Tuna. Maybe the cat likes Tuna, unlike Yuuri. Yuuri remembers sometimes his mom would pack him Tuna sandwiches, and his sister, Mari, would tell his mom to make him Tuna sandswich on purpose.
He still loved them though. Yuuri went to the cash register to purchase his items, which wasn't much. Maybe...Yuuri should forgive Phichit. He should. He will.
Yuuri glanced at the lady's name tag.
'Kiki?' Yuuri whispers. "Yup! That's my name, don't wear it out," The girl whispers.
"What's the Tuna food for?" She asks curiously. Yuuri facepalms and lets out a nervous chuckle, "It's for a cat actually."
"That is so nice, is it your cat?" She asks. Yuuri does a sheepish smile and responds with a 'not yet'. "What's your name?" Kiki asks. "Yuuri," He says.
"That is a nice name," She smiles then hands him the money, and then she gushes, "I've wanted to meet the skater from Russia, his name Yuri too!" Yuuri chuckles nervously as she talked about Yuri Plisetky and then thanked her and ignores her statement. He leaves and then goes back to the street where he last saw the cat. The rain was falling off of Yuuri, and onto the ground again. Rain drops poured down, so...maybe the cat was searching for shelter?
"It's gone." Yuuri says, looking around, glancing around the ally.
'Excuse me!' a voice was heard. It was Kiki's. She's back?
"Uh, yes?" Yuuri says turning around, looking at the tired girl behind him a piece holding paper. "Here, it's my number, and you're...receipt. I...I really like that you bought a food for a cat that isn't even yours, it's really nice. And considering how expensive it is in the store I work in, it's really sweet. It has my number, maybe you can call me, so I could meet the cat? And I really like you, so yeah! " She says, blushing and then giggles and then tenses up, "I left the store off guard!" She then runs off and says 'bye', leaving Yuuri flattered but...confused.
"Bye..."
