Chapter 2

(Dance practice)

[Mitsuki's POV]

It was the first day of dance practice today and everyone was excited and so was I. I changed into my dancing attire right after school and met my best friends at the dance studio. I placed my bag at the side and went over to where my best friends were. Ichigo unnie then showed us a video clip of the routine that we will be learning and thereafter, we proceeded to practice. It was not long till we completed the first round of practice and we had a 15 minutes break. I was busy wiping off my sweat when Ichigo unnie called us over to discuss about a matter.

"Girls, come on over." Ichigo unnie said, motioning for us to come over and we made our way towards her.

"What is it Ichigo unnie?" I asked, taking a seat next to her.

"I just found out earlier that a few idol agencies will be coming over next week and they're here to recruit us so all we've got to do now, is to do a mini concert for them." Ichigo unnie explained.

"Do you know which idol agencies that would be coming?" Lily unnie asked.

"Yes. The idol agencies are SM Entertainment, Big Hit Entertainment, Starship Entertainment and JYP Entertainment." Ichigo unnie said.

"Did they tell you which artists that would be coming to watch us perform?" Nari unnie asked.

"No, they did not mention about any artist that would be coming." Ichigo unnie said.

"Either way, we still have to give it our all during the mini concert." Haruhi unnie said.

"I agree." I said.

"Time to get back to practice. We need to get this routine right before our mini concert next week." Ichigo unnie said and all of us got up, before resuming with the dance practice.

(After dance practice)

[Mitsuki's POV]

I went to the washroom to wash my face while my friends waited for me outside. I wiped my face using a face towel and went out of the washroom. All of us walked out of school and went our separate ways once we've reached a junction. I waved good bye to my friends and slowly made my way home. It was not long till I've finally arrived and I quietly opened the door and to my surprise, both my parents were in the living room. I closed the door and took my shoes off and was about to head up to my room when my dad called me.

"Mitsuki, I need to speak to you." Dad said and I made my way towards him.

"What is it?" I asked, taking a seat on the sofa opposite him.

"Get your bags packed by tonight, you won't be staying with us anymore." Dad said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You'll be living with your brother from now on." Dad said.

"Since when did we even agree on this?" I asked.

"Just listen to us for once okay?" Dad said.

"I need an explanation. I can't just move in to his house all of a sudden." I said.

"Look, just do as I say okay? And one more thing, if I ever find out that your brother knows about me abusing you, you'll be in deep trouble." Dad said, threatening me and all I did was nod.

I made my way up to my room and closed the door. I took out my suitcase and started packing all of my stuff into it. While doing so, I started to ponder on why I had to move into my brother's home all of a sudden. But what surprised me the most was that for the first time, both my parents aren't drunk and I find that really weird. I just shrugged that thought off and continued to pack.

It was not long till I'm finally done with all the packing. I placed my suitcase right next to my study table and I went over to my bed and lay on it. I was about to doze off when the doorbell rang. I quickly made my way down and went over to the door to open it. As soon as I opened the door, I came face to face with my older brother, Kim Seokjin.

"Jin oppa, what are you doing here?" I asked.
