I went up to where my older brother was and I tapped him on his shoulder since he was back facing me. He then turned around to face me.
"Can I help you to wash the dishes?" I asked.
"No." He replied.
"But why?" I asked, pouting.
"Like I've mentioned before, I do not want you to get hurt unnecessarily." He said.
"But..." I got cut off by him once again. "No buts. I'm doing this for your own good. Got it?" He asked and I just nodded.
Just then, Jungkook oppa and Taehyung oppa came out from the kitchen and joined the rest of us. The 7 of them then took turns to ask me questions, starting from Jungkook oppa.
"So, do you have any hobbies?" Jungkook oppa asked.
"Yes, I do. I love reading books mainly because I'm a Literature student. I love listening to music and I love to draw too." I said.
"What are your favourite colours?" Taehyung oppa asked.
"I love every single colour but I prefer dark colours." I said.
"Do you have any favourite food?" Namjoon oppa asked.
"Yes. I love kimchi fried rice, bibimbap, bulgogi, gimbap and jajangmyeon. It's been long since I last ate them." I said.
"Looks like your older brother has to cook it for you then." Hoseok oppa said.
"Yes. Can you cook it for me soon, oppa?" I said, turning to face my older brother and he just nodded.
"Do you like to go on adventures?" Yoongi oppa asked.
"Yes, but I never really head out often." I said.
"So, you're in high school now right? How is school going so far for you?" Jimin oppa asked.
"Yes, I am. School is going great so far but at times, it can get really stressful." I said.
"Just hang in there all right? I'm sure with hard work and perseverance, you'll get through school with ease." Namjoon oppa said, smiling and I nodded.
"I was wondering, why did you chose Literature instead of Art as one of your subjects in school?" Hoseok oppa asked.
"Well, the reason is simple. As much as I love drawing, I feel like it would be such a hassle for me to do tons of drawings every single day as it requires much skills. Thus, I chose Literature over Art. Besides, I rather read than draw loads of drawings even though drawing is one my many hobbies too." I said.
"For your information, Hoseok hyung loves Literature so I'm sure he'll be able to help you out." Jimin oppa said and Hoseok oppa just grinned.
"You do not have a boyfriend, right?" Jin oppa asked.
"No, I do not. So, do not worry." I said.
"Good because if I were to ever find out that you have a boyfriend, you'll be in deep trouble. Got it?" Jin oppa asked.
"Yes, I get it." I said.
"Never knew your older brother would be this stern towards you." Namjoon oppa said.
"Well, he has his reasons for being like this. It also shows that he cares for me." I said, smiling.
"Does he get super overprotective over you?" Jungkook oppa asked.
"Yes, but I don't mind even though others asked why I do not get annoyed about it." I said.
"As long as you know he's doing his job as your older brother, everything will be fine." Namjoon oppa said and I just nodded.
I yawned a little and that caught the attention of my older brother. He then glanced at the wall clock and I too, took a quick glance at it and it was already half past 10.
"I guess it's time for all of us to head to bed." Jin oppa said.
"I agree." Yoongi oppa said.
All of us then got up and went up to the second floor where all the rooms were. I went into my room and was about to close the door when my older brother held it open.
"Yes, is there anything you need?" I asked.
"No, I just wanted to tuck you into bed." He said.
"Oppa, I'm old enough. I do not need you to tuck me into bed." I said and he scoffed.
"I know but just let me tuck you into bed for once, please." He pleaded.
"Fine, but only this once okay?" I said and he nodded.
The both of us went over to my bed and I laid in it before he covered me with the blanket. He then turned on the night light and before he headed out of my room, he gave me a kiss on my cheek and wished me good night and soon after he closed the door, I was fast asleep.
