Your leg bobbed up and down, nerves filling your insides. Your eyes scanned the airport. He wasn't here yet.

"Y/N! Would you please stay still!" Your mum mumbled. You threw your head back.

"Mum! I'm so nervous! I haven't seen him in 3 years! It's not going to be the same as it was. What if he's changed? Have I changed? What if he doesn't like me-"

"Your mumbling."

"I am not!" Your mother chuckled.

"Y/N, dear. This is Tom. You've know him your whole life!" You inhaled deeply. "Just because he's now famous doesn't mean he's changed." Your leg resumed bobbing up and down; you needed to distract yourself.

See, you and Tom had been best friends since you were pretty much born. Your mums were best friends, so you grew up together. The fact that you were also neighbours meant you saw eachother everyday. Even throughout Billy Elliot and the Impossible, he stuck by your side. You spoke almost everyday, even when he was away. You stuck by him through thick and thin.

It was his role as Spider-Man that landed him in he fame. The day you two said goodbye was one of the worst of your life. Tom hugged you for what felt like hours, refusing to let go when he was called to the car. Tears ran down your cheeks as you squeezed him one last time. No words were spoken. You pulled away, looking into his eyes. Then he left. You tried to keep in as much contact as you could. But every day, something got in the way. Pretty soon you didn't talk at all.

Yes, you watched homecoming, and kept up to date with his Instagram. Fan accounts started popping up on your recommended, strangers that were in love with your best friend. 3 years passed; you had changed. Developed. So had he.

Your eyes shut with anticipation. It will be fine, Y/N. It's just Tom! 'Just Tom' my ass. Tom was a celebritity now, probably didn't want anything to do with his ex-BestFriend. "Y/N!" Your eyes snapped open. You turned to look at your mum, who was smiling at you. "It's time!" Your heart accelerated 10x's faster, your hands clammy as you looked around. The airport began to fill with people, all coming out from the plane. Tom's plane.

"You ready?" She asked, taking your hand and giving it a squeeze. You shook your head; no.
She chuckled. "Just you wait, sweetie." Never filled your veins. Suddenly, your mum grabbed your hand and pulled you up.

"Mum!" You murmered, shocked. But as you went to look up, a pair of brown orbs were staring into your own. They definitely weren't your mums. Your breath hitched in your throat. Tom looked just as shocked. You had planned this day out for at least a year now. You would run up to him, jump in his arms and then confess your love for him. They made it look so much easier in the movies.

"H-Hi." You stuttered. Tom stood still for a minute, taking you in, before laughing and grabbing your waist. He pulled you into him, spinning you around and squeezing your frame tightly. You reacted almost instantly, squeezing his neck and tugging the ends of his hair lightly. After spinning around, he placed you down but didn't put you down. He snuggled into your neck, stroking your hair and planting light kisses on your collarbone.

You could feel both yours and Tom's heart beating, almost as if it was one. A sigh of content passed by your lips as you and Tom stayed in each others embrace. "I missed you so fucking much." You whispered. He squeezed you tightly before pulling away and looking at your face.

"You're so beautiful, Y/N. So beautiful." His words droned off as he cupped your cheeks and pressed his lips to yours. "I missed you." Quickly, your arms re-wrapped around his neck, pulling the handsome boy closer to you. You kissed with all the love and passion you both had, as if you had years of making up too do- or making out to do. However, it was cut short by giggling. You both pulled apart, cheeks red, hearts beating hard and fast. You turned to look at both mums, running forward to quickly hug Nikki before stepping back to Tom.

"I always knew there was something between you two. Right from that dance." You rolled your eyes, but smiled anyway. Once Nikki and Your mum were engagaed in conversation, Tom grabbed your hand. You raised your eyebrows at him. He looked into your eyes, reaching his hand up to stroke your face. His lips reached down once more to peck yours, before he pulled you into his amrs.

"I really missed you, Y/N/N. I never stopped thinking about you, through everything. You were always my first thought when I woke up or went to sleep." You smiled, pulling him closer to you. "Y/F/N, I love you. More than anything."

"I love you too, Tom. Always have."

"For more than 3 years?" You pulled away again, pressing your lips to his.

"For more than a thousand." He smiled his a million dollar smile.

"I want to spend all the years of my life with you, Y/F/N. Years and years."
