Chapter 3: What is that girl?

Y/n POV

I had to get up early on a Saturday and actually get up! I normally wake up at 9:00 am but nope! Today I had to wake up at 7:00 to get to work which starts at 8:00. At least Stephany will be there. She wakes up even later than me normally. She's not an early person. We met up at the cafe before walking in. We we're fully awake by then. I told her about mini mew since she was confused. She wasn't at work yesterday so it makes sense. She agrees that mini mew will be great help. The day was crowded as usual. "Hey Eliot. I think there's something wrong with mini mew. He kept calling a normal girl a predisite." I said to the blond when work was over. "Did you see if mini mew was correct? How do you know that girl isn't related to the predisites and the cyniclons?" Eliot said. He has a good point.

"Alright. Me and Steph will go check it out then." I said. Steph nodded and we headed out to investigate. Mini mew brought us to a huge mansion. Wow! I knocked on the door. The other day, I noticed that she dropped a locket. It's the perfect excuse to see her and investigate. The elderly woman that was with the girl answered the door. "Aren't you that girl that found Corina's necklace yesterday?" She asked. I nodded. "Corina! You have visitors." The woman called. "Who is it grandma?" The girl asked as she walked down the stairs. "Hi. It's me again." I said nervously waving. Her grandmother stepped out. "What do you want?" She said like a bit of a snob. "I found this yesterday. You had dropped it." I said as I held out the locket. "So why did you need to bring someone else?" She asked. "We were just walking home and I decided we'd better return this before." I lied.

"Do you mind if we just kinda look around a bit?" Steph asked. "I thank you should be leaving." The girl said kind of rudely. "Don't worry. We just want to check around this area. We won't go anywhere else." I assured and me and my friend went around the room with mini mew as a keychain on my phone. "Anything?" I asked him. "I really think you should leave!" The girl I believe is called Corina said rudely again. "Alright. We'll see ourselves out. Come one Y/n." Said Steph as she walked out and I followed.

Corina POV

Finally they left. I noticed my dog come downstairs. He seemed strange. He then transformed into a beast. I screamed.

Y/n POV

We heard a scream as we were about to leave the property. My eyes widened as both me and my friend turned around to see the house. We both ran back inside. A beast was there aboutnto attack Corina. "Power pendant mewtamorphosis!" I called and me and Steph transformed.

Dren POV

I was outside the rich girl's house where I just made another predisite. I was staying to see who the mew mews are. I then saw the two girls transforming by the door. Now I know.

Y/n POV

"What are you?" Corina asked us in a loud enough voice since she was at the other end of the room. "Mew Mew style, Mew Mew grace, Mew Mew power in your face." I did a little hero punch line. "Answer my question or at least help me!" Yelled Corina rudely. I gave her a glare. "I just answered your question and stop distracting me." I said. She rolled her eyes. Then the beast was about to attack her. Steph was quicker than me so she was able to get Corina out of the way. Thank the heavens!

"Deep sea surge attack!" Steph called. I noticed a small scratch on Corina's back. There was a pink mark on her back. It was the same colour as the mew mark. Is she one of us? Mini Mew went up to her and gave her a power pendant. Me and Stephany stood there shocked. The beast tried attacking again. "CORINA TRANSORM!" I yelled. She then transformed. She had bird wings. Cool! So then she's one of us! We have our third mew! I got out my strawberry bell. "Don't hurt him!" She called which distracted me. I was about to get attacked by the beast when she shot a heart arrow. I then used the strawberry bell. "Strawberry bell full power!" I called and the infuser left the predisite which was Corina's dog. Now I understand why she didn't want it to get hurt.

"What happened? I don't want to be a freak like you." She said to me. "Hey!" Stephany said. "You're not a freak. You don't have a tail or cat ears." She said. Remind me to punch her later. I took a deep breath to calm my rising anger and annoyance. "You are a Mew Mew not a freak first of all. Come with us to Cafe Mew Mew to get a full explanation." I said and me and Steph turned back and left. "Be there at 8:00 in their morning." I said just before I was out of view.

She was at the Cafe the next day but she was late. I swear I told her the time right before I had left the view from the door. She showed up around 1:00 in the afternoon. She got on her uniform for work and just sat at a  table. "Waitress. Where's my tea?" She asked. "I don't think you should be talking to yourself like that. You'd think you of all people would know your own name." I said to her. I was talking to you." She said rudely. "But you're a waitress." I countered. I'm not letting her just sit around and do nothing. I held out a tray. "Table four wants their food and I need to bring table five their food. Here, take care if table four." I said and handed her the tray. "No." She said. I gave her a death glare. "I wasn't asking a question I was giving an order. It would be a shame if everyone saw you were part animal wouldn't it." Blackmail should hopefully work. "How?" She asked. I took out a picture of her in Mew form. I need to thank Mini Mew for that.

"Fine." She whined. At least I have her doing her job. While me and my friend were walking home after work, Mini Mew started going crazy. "Alien alert! Alien alert!" He kept saying. "Mini Mew, there aren't any aliens." Steph said. "Alien alert, alien alert." We heard a voice say above us. We looked up. Then, a strange person with green hair jumped down and kissed me. Ew! I pushed him away. "What's wrong kitty cat? Cat got your toungue." He said. "Oh hell no! You listen to me! Next time you do that I will have no hesitation punching you a cross your face!" I yelled. He smirked. "Calm down Kitty cat. No need to be violent." He said and left. I hate that guy. That was my first kiss too.

Hope you liked the chapter. My story is minda similar to Mew Mew Power/ Tokyo Mew Mew. Except of course the fact that Corina actually did some work. Bye bye Nya~
