At first I didn't know you'd break my heart
But after all the time I guess I should've known it from the start
You didn't trust me enough to tell me
Your flaws
Still after all this time I realized trust is like a law
You met me when you were nothing
But you've come so far
So, after you promised me you wouldn't
You left me in a sky shrouded in stars. You promised me, "dear I'll never leave you and you'll stay by my side"
After I had turned around and you had left the ground to fly
Up in the clouds without one star left in my sky.
It was a lie.
I followed you everywhere
But you still left me to die.
This is the part where I realized
You were the only star in my sky.
