I think being lead on, and being told that you're loved, but it's a lie in itself are two different things.
When you're lead on, that person is scared to tell you how they really feel
When someone lies about loving you, they know the damage it's gonna cause when they really leave, because they can't keep up the act forever.
They get off on it. Feed on it. Live for it.
You can't just tell someone you love them without meaning it. Love is a black or white situation. All or nothing. If you leave someone in the gray area in between, their soul will turn the color that you left them wandering in.
