"Lexi calm down. I understand that what you're going through right now must be hard, and I'm sorry, but we're all looking for answers here. You're not a suspect necessarily, but since you are the only one alive out of the group it is a little suspicious, but none of the less we just want to try and help bring the person responsible for all of this to justice. Since we don't have any evidence against you, we're not saying that you are guilty, but we're also not saying that aren't innocent either. "

"Look i'm sorry for blowing up. It's not your fault, you're just doing your job. This whole thing has been driving me crazy. I didn't want this to happen. It wasn't supposed to happen this way. I wasn't supposed to ki-. uh nevermind."

"We're you going to add something? You cut off mid sentence. Anything you'd like to share?"

I could feel him staring at me, judging me for what I just said, writing down my every word, even if I couldn't see his face, I just knew. Was I really just about to say that I killed them?

"No no, it was just you know what forget it, it wasn't that important anyways."

"Well, okay then, you can always tell me if you change your mind. Anyways lets get back on track shall we...Where were you the night of the killing?"

"I told you I don't remember, I mean I had to be somewhere in Monroe or maybe I was in the house, i'm not really sure."

"Do you remember what kind of house it was and who was with you at the time?"

"All I know is that it was a cabin somewhere in the woods in the middle of nowhere, and Luke and I were there on a business trip and then a few of my friends came out and surprised me. End of story."

"Who's Luke? Did he mean a lot to you? Was he more than just a friend maybe?" He asked in a rather unusual tone.

"Uh..yeah he was. I loved him very much. He was my soulmate. You know this is totally off topic but it's funny because he used to have a donut and coffee every morning before work like you. What a coincidence huh?"

"I guess well I know a lot of people who do that, so I wouldn't necessarily call it a coincidence. And I think we're done for the day. It was nice talking to you and if you remember anything let me know Lexi. Okay?" His voice was quivering and he spoke very fast. Weird.

"Um I guess..."

"Oh detective or chief or whatever you are, I never got a name."

"Uh call me H. And I'm an undercover cop, that's why I can't show my face, you might recogn-. But you can call me H."

I knew he was about to say recognize, but I think I could tell if someone was following me. Although his voice did sound familiar, and I don't know why he sounded so nervous when I asked him what his name was. And I wonder what H stands for. Oh well I guess that's his problem.

I left right after that. The guard "escorted" me if that's what you want to call it, back to the bland parking structure where the car with blacked out windows was waiting to take me back to that death trap. I hate this. And of course I remember some things that happened that night, but some things are better left unsaid.
