13 protect

I looked behind me and I saw a motor bike traveling at high speed, charging towards me.

Well I always thought that during this situation I would run for my life, but I just stood still in fear, I couldn't hear what jungkook was shouting, but within seconds I was pulled towards a sturdy chest.

I shut my eyes tight and grabbed onto the person's waist for support. It was traumatic for me, I could have died there and then. I heard the sound of the bike drifting away.

"It's okay Y/N, you're safe, it's ok."

It was jungkook, I was wrapped in his arms as one of his hand soothed me by pressing onto the back of my head.

After I got myself stabled again, my teary eye looked into his. He gently place his hand on my cheeks and said, "better now? Are you hurt anywhere?" Concerned filled his eyes.

I felt butterflies everywhere in my stomach, I looked away immediately and tried to push him away as the thought of him being a vampire filled in again.

However I lost my balance and nearly fell. Once again he grabbed me by my waist and supported me.

I felt awkward, like literally. Well to make things worse, I wore a crop top and his hands were literally on my bare waist. I suddenly felt conscious about my whole body as he was so close to me : do I smell? Are my waist meaty? Should I lean all my weight on him? Am I heavy? Wait he's a vampire right? Where is this leading to..

I decided to lean all my weight on him so that it would make things easier for us. We took baby steps and I looked everywhere except towards his direction. Suddenly a yellow note caught my eyes.

"What is that?" I asked out loud.

"Hold on." He said as he let me leaned against a street lamp and grabbed the note.

"It's just the beginning Y/N." He read out.

My face turned pale immediately, I can't believe it. Joseph went all the way, he tried to kill me.

Honestly pretending to be brave isn't important anymore. Scared was all I felt, joseph will hurt me and that's all I know.

I looked at jungkook helplessly as another tear fell from my eyes. He once again place his hands on my cheeks and asked, "tell me what's going on."

I hesitated for a while but after which I realised that he would compel it out of me anyway, so I told him the story and how I suspect he would come for me again. I don't really know if he understood the story as my words were all slurred and I was talking between sobs.

"Hey hey, I'm gonna protect you, I promise okay?" He assured me with a compassionate smile.

I felt a sense of calmness washed through me immediately, I gave a small smile back and he grabbed my waist, leading me back to the car.

As I grabbed Y/N's waist protectively, I could'nt help but feel happy, she always had a tough, stubborn front and yet she showed me her vulnerable sight.

'Who would do this to her, I'll never let that person go.' I told myself as I glanced at Y/N again.

"Hobi hyung, is there any way other than killing everyone in the security system to get the video footage of the camera?" I asked again.

"Compulsion." He replied.

"I feel like I'm talking to a horse.. I already told you, the security uses vervain and I have no idea why." I said annoyed.
