30 her letters

"Jungkook ah" her sweet voice called out.

I turned my head and saw her smiling sweetly at me, I ran towards and tried to embrace her in my arms.

But no matter how fast I ran, she just kept backing away. I ran even faster only to realise the distance was enhancing.

"Y/N, why are you backing away?"I shouted.

And then I saw her eyes teared, she merely mouthed, "I'm sorry." And a "I love you."

That's when panicked filled me, the memory of her getting shot came back.

"JUNGKOOK!" "JUNGKOOK!" "JUNGKOOK!"

And I snapped back into reality. Jimin hyung was snapping his fingers and calling out my name.

"Gosh you're finally focusing, you need to stop zoning out kook." Jimin hyung said as he handed me a bottle of Soju.

I opened the bottle and chugged it down. It burned my throat, but I didn't feel pain. Nothing hurts more than the thought that I can't have Y/N next to me anymore.

"I miss being human." I sadly laughed.

Jimin hyung turned and gave me the 'why?' Expression.

"I could get drunk, and forget about my problems temporarily. God I really miss that feeling."

He tapped my shoulder and pointed at the sky.

"She's right there, she'll never be gone kook. If you love her you'll wait, even if it's for thousands of years."

I nodded my head and closed my eyes.

Suddenly I felt a hand on my cheek, and wiped a tear that was rolling down my face. "Stay strong, we are all here for you." Jimin hyung finished.

After hours of drinking, Jimin hyung needed to leave the house. I went back into my room and sat on the bed, the place where Y/N and I cuddled.

Before I Laid down, something sticking out from the box caught my eyes. I went closer to it, only to retrieve a letter.

Flashback :
After 30 minutes, I was curious why Y/N still haven't left the room. I opened the door and saw Y/N quickly hiding something into a box. She wiped her face before turning around to smile at me.

It was neatly sealed in an envelope, with a tint of a sweet perfume scent. I quickly tore the envelope and opened the letter. It was written messily and at the bottom contained a picture of us looking deeply at each other's eyes.

Dear jungkook,
If you see this letter, it means that I didn't make it back to throw this letter away. I'm sorry I left you so early but I honestly don't regret it. You know how I always had an intuition right? I had a feeling today would be my last and you would never let me go if I told you that.

I remember how you were the first member that caught my eyes, how we first met, how I was a stubborn kid and how we got together. I remember every single thing you said to me. I cherish every single gift you gave me. And I'll hold our memories tightly forever.

I never once regretted loving you, through my life I had made countless of mistakes. Even if you were one, you'd be the best mistake.

Don't turn it off again, you don't have your emotional trigger with you. And don't blame Kim. I kind of wanted this, to die. So that you won't see me getting old and wrinkly. Treat the members properly and help me thanks my parents. And most importantly, don't beat yourself up.
