"Wooseok! Wait up!" I yelled, running towards him with my books in my hands.

Wooseok stopped walking before he turned his giant frame to look at me as he let me catch up.

"Mind if we talk after school?"

He nodded, "About what?"

"You'll find out when we talk. C'mon lets go to class."

I stared at the clock on the wall patiently, waiting for the clock to hit one-forty, the time we got released.

My stomach churned from the nervousness I was feeling. I don't feel too good about this, not too good at all.

Spacing out, I don't notice that class has already ended.

I notice Wooseok heading towards me after talking with a friend. Gathering my courage, I start to talk.

"Listen Wooseok, I know we're best friends and I wouldn't change it for the world. But I've been keeping a secret from you. . . "

"What is it? Is it bad?"

"I have feelings for you. And those feelings want me and you to be more than best friends."

"Ahahaha. Very funny, Daniella.''

After that, I told him every day when he would start treating me as a little sister. He would always take it as a joke. I just can't take it anymore. I stopped. I stopped telling him, trying to move on.

Maybe this is for the best. It's clear that he'll never like me if he can't ever take it seriously. Maybe I should just start new, a fresh start for me is good.

I let out a sigh.

"Dad?" I yelled out when I got home, dropping my bag onto the floor.

"Yeah?" he yelled back, walking as he came downstairs.

"Do you think I can transfer schools or something?"

"Sure sweetie. If that's what you want then it's fine with me."

    I nodded, "Thanks, Dad."

   Soon after he left to do his chores, tears started to cloud my vision.

   So many years of friendship wasted. I guess this is just for the best like I said.
