First things to do is build a barrack for sleeping. I usually build this 9x9 and have 3 beds for the pawns (Pawn meaning person). After planning the build I make the farm. Plant a rice plant not only does it grow quick but it harvests a lot too! Soon you will have to build a freezer to hold it all. To make it look nice build it the same size as your main building. also put an Aircon down and set the temperature down to -1 degrees. oh right, no power :( don't worry it's easy! just choose a solar panel or wind turbine and place it. you should note that the wind turbine needs a cleared area for it. Once you've chosen, place a battery down next to it. Wonderful the freezers working! you might want to add an aircon to the barracks so that it doesn't get too hot.
