I watched as Nimb paced the cave, back and forth, back and forth. It was hard to hold back a snicker.
Her brown head shot up as she looked at me, green eyes baring basically into my soul.
That's it, Nimb is the creepiest cat I have ever met.
"What?" She asked me.
"I didn't say anything!"
She looked up and down, studying me, as if I was a twoleg that wasn't insane.

"Seed! Nimb!"
I stood up, my ears perked as Charcoal called my name.
Forget Nimb, Charcoal is sane. He's brave, and funny, and kind, and silly, and- Seed what the heck?! Quit thinking of him like that, he is like your brother. Ew.

Nimb padded out the cave entrance, and I quickly followed her. Charcoal was standing outside by the slope, holding an unconscious crimson colored cat by the scruff.
"Yeah, so Charcoal is so very stupid and caught a clan cat", Dame said, walking up behind him.
Charcoal shot her a glare and dropped the cat, "Whatever Dame."
I rolled my eyes, snickering softly.
"She's right Coal, attacking a clan cat...it could be very very very bad for us", Nimb said, freaking out about everything as normal.
"Not when I tell you that I think this cat knows how Seed's mom died." Charcoal smirked.

And at that moment, I froze, all of me; it felt as if my heart was going to explode. Mom...
My mother died when I was just a kit, and I was too young then to know what death was. I felt the hair on my back rise as I looked at Charcoal with anger, curiosity, and sadness all coursing through me.
