SIXTEEN

After I drove off, I went back to work but since it was already time for me to leave, I just texted Josh to let him know I would be waiting for him at home, then I picked up my bag and left.
I reached home feeling tired and lazy after such a day. I went straight to the kitchen but the only thing I saw to fix was omelette, so I immediately began to cook. When I was ready to eat, I took my laptop and was ready to put it on when my phone rang. I took it out, it was Lucy.
"Hey Apple" I chuckled.
She sighed "you log in on utube, you're sure to gasp" she said.
I immediately put the phone down and did like she said and I did gasp.

The video that people took in Ken's office, so many versions of them were being uploaded and none had less than eight thousand views. My heart stopped for a second, what was Anna getting herself into these days. I knew their was a possibility of mum seeing it and calling me, so I put off my phone and slowly ate my food.
It was two hours later when Josh picked me up for dinner and I sure was looking forward to the meal.

Ken's POV

I sat in the place where I usually ate with Rachel before, it took all my man power not to break down in front of everyone was eating here. I was eating my Spaghetti when a thought crossed my mind. If I really wanted to end all of this nonsense then I needed to take a step or else Anna might end up killing me.
When I was done eating up my pasta, I took out my phone and texted her to meet me at the last place you got me arrested. I told her to do that fast since it was urgent, then I sat and waited.

Anna's POV

I was resting in the young man's arms. I had already forgotten what he said his name was. Either Bryan or Bean or Bush...I just didn't remember, neither did I care. The young guy was sure a whole snack. He actually treated me well. Starting from the meal, to the hot make outs. He did so many things that you might not want to know, I was about touching his face and kissing him when my phone beeped.
"You okay babe?" He asked
"Yea, very" I said, hoping it was true. I took up the phone and wished it wouldn't be Ken, but it was. As soon I read the message, I jumped up. What the hell was going on? He wanted to meet with him. I began to throw my clothes on. Luckily I had taken a bath before I lay down.
"Are you going already!" He said puzzled
I sniffed "yea, my mum is quite sick and was rushed to the hospital"
He ohhed "I see, you'll need an alone time then" he said "my greetings..."
"Yea thanks" I said immediately. Thank God he also had brain not to push to go with me. I didn't know what I would have told him then. I immediately threw on my clothes and kissed him, knowing fully well that this was the end. I flew out of the door, seeing that I forgot my car keys, I rushed into the room again and the cutie was about to smoke. I flashed him a fake smile and ran out again.

Ken's POV

I was sipping my drink which I had ordered while waiting for her when u saw her stepped out of her car. She looked really dishevelled and her hair was in a mess like she was just getting out of bed when she received my message. Maybe another man's bed. She bumped into the restaurant looking around, when she saw me sipping my drink calmly, her frown deepened.
"What's going on?" She asked out of breath.

Ismiled dryly "sit down" I said. She hesitantly obeyed "now look around, half of the people in this place know who you are" I said "do you know why?"
She looked around, people were indeed looking at us, some were staring, pointing and others shook their heads and averted their eyes when ours met.
"Its because the video of what you did today has more than 1 million views Anna, you're screwing yourself up" I said.
"That should be my problem isn't it?" She snapped.
I shrugged "you look dirty and rough" I commented "like you were in another unlucky man's bed before you received..."
Her frown deepened "will you shut the..."
I raised my palm "you shut up and listen to me" I snapped "Its time to stop your silly little games Annabel"
She smirked "and who will make me?"
I sipped my drink, she called a waiter and ordered fruit punch. "Make sure you take your cash from her, I ain't paying for anybody" I said to the waiter.
Anna glared at me and I totally ignored her. She took out money and handed to the waiter before he walked off to bring her order.

"Listen to me carefully Anna" I began "I wouldn't want to waste our times here, so I'm going to go straight to the point"
Her eyes bore into mine "then do so"
"We'll be going for Medical Check up Anna, so get ready" I said.
She smiled "of course I am baby pa..."
"Shut it!"
She ignored me "I will check out the best place for us to go" she sang on excitedly.
"You don't have to stress yourself, I will choose the country and the Hospital" I said.
Her eyes popped out and color drained from her face "Country! United States has enough hospitals Ken"
I nodded "of course I know and I also know that someone can alter a result, so I am not taking chances"
She began to panic "you're not serious right Ken, you barely have enough..."
I shrugged "but I have enough to get my ass off trouble. So go get ready Annabel because we are doing this"
The waiter brought the order but she pushed it aside. "This is a bit too far"
I chuckled "you know what is a bit too far? Getting on TV accusing me of rape, attracting attention in my office. Just pray that baby isn't mine. If it's mine, you have a life long of doom waiting for you because I won't consider taking you as a wife and if its not, I will make sure you pay through your teeth for painting me wrong" I said seriously.
She stood up "you are full of shit"
I smiled at her "I will give you a call a day before we leave but you will only get to know where we are going to when we reach the airport" I informed "until then, you have no right to call me your baby papa"

She glared at me "did you mean what you said about Rachel today?"
I smiled and nodded "I meant every word of it"
She returned my smile "you know you have no shot at her, just like I don't have on you"
My smile quickly faded "you look a mess, you can get out now before you embarrass me to the point I will need to cover my face before leaving"
She cursed me but I didn't hear her, I didn't bother to listen and I didn't look up until she walked out. It was time to take a step, I thought.
