Later, at the meet and greet, Artemis was busy signing autographs while Kloey played games on her phone. "Hi, I'm Lucy." A girl with snow-white hair bounced up to Artemis.

"Hi, Lucy. It's nice to meet you," Artemis's words were genuine, as she truly enjoyed meeting her fans, but also saw them as new possibilities for friendships. "What can I do for you today?"

"I was wondering if you could sign my shirt," Lucy was wearing a white Black Veil Brides shirt, one that featured Artemis with the boys.

"Sure! Hey, isn't that one of our new shirts?"

"Yeah! I pre-ordered it!"

"That's awesome, it looks good!" Artemis uncapped her black Sharpie and signed her name on the side of Lucy's shirt. "Anything else?"

"Could I get a picture with you?"

"'Course you can!" Artemis stood and put an arm around Lucy's shoulder, who lifted up her phone and snapped a selfie.

"Thank you so much!"

"No problem!" Artemis waved as the next person came up.

A girl with pale blue hair smiled. Her left eye was pale with a scar running over it. Artemis did her best to avoid staring. "It's okay, I'm used to that. I'm Jezzabelle Watson, and the thing with my eye, well, I was protecting my sister from a mugger and got slashed over my eye. I'm half-blind now." Her other eye was bright green.

"I hear you. This crescent scar next to my eye? Defending a friend from a mugger, got slashed. Sorry about your eye, Jezza. Wait, is it okay if I call you that?"

Jezza smiled brightly. "It's wonderful, that's actually what my sister calls me. Anna, get your butt over here!" A girl with brown hair streaked with pale blue walked over, her bright green eyes identical to Jezza's. "This is my little sister, Annabeth."

The girl held out a hand, and Artemis shook it. "Most people call me Anna."

"It's wonderful to meet the two of you."

Later, after the meet and greet and lengthy concert, it was 11:58 am. Artemis was watching Kloey play a game on her DSi. "Is that Legend of Zelda?"

"Yeah, it's the 25th Anniversary Four Swords edition!" Kloey responded, her voice filled with joy.

"I love that game!" Artemis's phone buzzed. It was a text from Ashley. Want to go out? Awesome bar nearby.

Artemis snickered. I'll pass. Just gonna chill with Kloey.

His response was immediate. Kay. See you in a couple hours. CC's coming with me.

Yawning, Artemis stretched and flopped onto the couch, her low-backed tank top revealing the black and gray winged blade tattoo on her back. She soon fell asleep, her breathing much slower. Kloey, having noticed Artemis falling asleep, took the time to get a good look at Artemis's tattoo. Artemis had once said that each of her tattoos meant something, but what could a blade with angel wings possibly mean? Kloey herself had simply angel wings on her back, representing her love for the sky and her love for fantasy, but put a blade in between them and it means something else. After a while, Artemis stirred. "Whatcha lookin' at?"

"What do each of your tattoos represent?"

"Well, the BVB symbol on my right forearm obviously represents my love for the band, the crescent moon on my collarbone represents that I was born at night, I love the ocean, and I was born under a crescent moon." Artemis paused. "You're asking about the winged blade, aren't you?" Kloey nodded, and Artemis sighed. "I'm a fighter, y'know? It represents defending others who are attacked or treated badly who don't deserve the hate."

"That's actually really cool. How come you never told me?"

"You never asked." Artemis said, chuckling, which got a pillow thrown at her. "Hey!"

Kloey laughed, jumping onto the couch next to Artemis. "You deserved that."

Artemis's eyes glittered. "I suppose I did, didn't I?" She leaned in, pressing her lips against Kloey's. Her right hand went up to Kloey's neck, cradling her face, kissing her slowly.

When they pulled apart, Kloey smiled. "What was that for?"

"I dunno," Artemis replied, shrugging her shoulders.

"Well, could you do it again?" Kloey whispered, reaching over to Artemis.
