It was another morning at preschool for izuku, he was following kacchan and his gang around the school yard. Ever since kacchan developed his explosion quirk he's been different. He got angry when izuku asked if he was okay after falling into a stream or when izuku was catching bugs with him. Izuku didn't mind though, he still thought kacchan was the coolest ever! « Wow Kacchan you're so amazing! I hope my quirk will be as cool as yours! » izuku said excitedly. « Yeah right no matter what your quirk is you'll never be as cool as me » kacchan replies in a cocky tone. Izuku brushes this off as this was kacchan's normal behaviour. The teacher soon called out that it was lunch time and for everyone to come inside. Izuku sat with Kacchan and his friends even though they weren't very inviting.

Now that lunch was finished everyone headed back outside. Izuku stayed in a bit longer to help clean up. « Thanks for helping! » The teacher smiled. When izuku went back outside he saw kacchan at the playground. Izuku rushes to go play with them. When he got to them he heard kacchan telling his friends how you can read the last part of izuku as deku which means defenceless. « Kacchan why are you being so mean? » Izuku said « Whatever Dekuu, the name fits for someone like you. »The day went on like every other day.

1 day later.

« You will not develop a quirk Izuku » Izuku looked like he saw a ghost, how could he not develop a quirk? Was this even possible? The doctor explained about how the joints in your smallest toe correlate with if you're going to develop a quirk. Even though he just got terrible news he still had to go to preschool and suffer the torment from kacchan and the other kids. When he got to preschool he got made fun of from everyone. Another kid in his preschool named tsuyu asui saw this and told herself that after lunch she'd try and cheer him up.

A/N: So this is the first part I'll probably publish the second part right now or later today, I know this part wasn't as different from the actual story but it'll change more later on :)
