"that is one of the very few places that are off limits to you, besides us employees." aiden had said sharply, almost like an adult correcting a child, his steps continuing their way down the hallway and to the reception desk.

once there; aiden, smile bright as day once again, had laid both his hands on the desk in front of seth. the male that had been reading a book with his head propped up onto his elbow gave the other male a subtle scowl, glancing up at aiden only to look back down.

"what do you want, aiden?" seth had mumbled under his breath, turning a page. "I'm on break. i don't see why you're wasting your time bothering me." aiden had chuckled, taking the corner of  seth's book gently in between his fingers before; almost at the speed of light, had slammed the hardback cover violently on his hand.

seth had only bit his lip, followed with a whimper as he'd scrunched his nose up in pain. after ripping his fingers out from under the cover of his book; 'the shining' by stephen king, he'd given aiden a menacing glare.

"show our guest out, would you please?" aiden spoke softly, straightening his composure as he'd adjusted the collar of his loose, white shirt, his expression void of emotion."we have our last employee coming in for his night shift. he'll be here soon to assist us, so we need to close the building up."
