I was watching the waves turn when I saw another merman dragging cas up to shore with a knife halfway in him.
"Cas!" I yelled, running up next to him and cradling him in my arms.
"Dean! I love you." He said weakly before the life when out in his eyes.
"No no no no no! Cas!" I screamed, tears pouring down my face. "Cas!"
"I-I'm so sorry." The merman said quietly, a few tears dripping down his face.
"Go away!" I growled at him, my thinking all blurry. "Leave me alone!" The merman jumped back into the waters and swam off as I placed my forehead on cas's. His piercing blue eyes were lifeless and cold and his once warm body was limp and dead. My angel was dead.
