"Hey? Hey! Wake up!"
"Dude, he isn't going to wake u-"
"-Move."A woman with dark skin, red hair and a fox mask shoved her way past the teens. "Where did he come from?" She asked them. They shrugged their shoulders and she let out a heavy sigh.
"Of course..."
She took out a vial out of the pouch she had slung over her arm. It contained some kind of bizzare green liquid. Crouching and flipping the male at her feet onto his back, she made him drink it. He continued laying there for a moment before his eyes snapped open and he sat up, coughing into his elbow. The woman laughed and brought him up to his feet."Calm down. You're fine now. Although.. you might want to check yourself for bumps, bruises or cuts. You fell a long way."
The twins looked at each other and spoke in hushed voices, "He must be the one.."
The redhead laughed nervously, "Don't mind them.. I think they had too much Tart for breakfast.""But we-"
"-Anywho!" She grabbed Micheal by his arm and started leading him away from the park he landed in and away from the twins before they said anything else irrational.
He mumbled, "Where... Where am I?"The people around him all had some kind of unnatural hair color, which mostly matched the color of the animal mask they wore. Why are they all wearing masks? "Who are you? Why are you wearing that mask?"
She laughed. "Now, I understand that you have a lot of questions but I will answer them all once I help you make sure your wings aren't broken."
"Wings?"Sure enough, after he asked that question, the wings he now owns voluntarily flapped. Micheal became just as wide eyed as he was when he woke up in the park. She grabbed him by his shoulders and shook him to bring him back to reality.
"Why do you look so shocked? Didn't you have them before you came here?"Micheal shook his head and raised his hand to touch his brand new characteristic. The woman, however just.. looked at him.
"What? Do you not believe me?"
"No... No, I do believe you."
"Good. Uh... Where are we going?"
She smiled at him. "We're going to the hospital."
"Wait. What?! I don't need to go to the hospital!"
Laughter smoothed it's way out of her chest in a small chuckle. "Oh, stop overreacting. We're going to my place."Oh, right.
After a while of the two walking together and Micheal asking many extensive questions, they finally arrived at the woman's house. It's giving a homely warmth that makes him just want to walk inside, fall face first onto the ground and go to sleep.
The woman grabbed the sleeve of his shirt and dragged him inside.
"Quit staring and just get in here."
"Woah---oh, okay."The inside is rather.... Green. Plants and vines scaled up the walls in her home, covering most of the cement and going up the stairs and through the windows. The flooring isn't even floor, it's just grass and dirt. One would suspect that this house was abandoned before she moved in and she just never bothered to remove the out of control greenery, but...
"So you like my plants? I've been working on them for years."
"You mean... You made your house like this on purpose?"She gave him a smile and a nod. "Yes, now sit down and take your shirt off while I go get a kit ready for you."
Micheal nodded and found a chair that was clean of dead leaves and vines and sat down in it before pulling his shirt up and over his head.. and..
No. That's not going to work. Wings are too big.
He just ripped his shirt off and dropped it down to the ground. He then looked around and let out a sigh.
Today is going to be a long day..
